I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 3C in July 09. I am now in remission after 2 rounds of chemo and 5 surgeries over the last 2 years. Even though I had health insurance, the bills were unbelievable, and during my treatment I also went through a divorce, my husband had been my only source of income when I was sick. The Raymond Wentz Foundation helped me with financial aid twice, which really was a help, not only with bills, but the fact that someone cared enough to help me was a wonderful feeling in those hard times. The Raymond Wentz Foundation is marvelous, and I would advise anyone who has cancer and is struggling to get in touch with them. I can't thank them enough for what they have done for me.
Ray of Hope is a community of generous supporters that realizes that stopping cancer is not just research but also being their for cancer patients in the moment as they go through treatment. The financial grant is not just money...it's peace of mind. The character integrity of the staff, volunteers, and Board embers is second to none.
The Raymond Wentz Foundation exists to help cancer patients who are experiencing financial hardships. With so much attention paid to medical bills and treatment costs, this foundation provides support so that cancer patients can focus on living. RWF provides a service that is important, often overlooked, and essential.
