Mission: The mission of ravenwood is to provide outdoor education and science programs to children and other groups.
Programs: Ravenwood celebrated it's 10 year anniversary of providing youth outdoor training programs. Ravenwood sold out it's 2013 summer youth camp season. An adminsitrative assistant was hired and a formal volunteer and mentor in training program was initiated in order to help organize and deliver even better programs for the future.
ravenwood hosted its first ever overnight camp for teens in 2014. Seven young teens from great falls, bozeman, and the flathead valley learned advanced survival skills and participated in a facilitated solo fast from sunrise to sunset, reporting their insights, learning, and stories to community elders the following day. Each teen made a commitment to expand or create a role of service in their home and community and will be coming back next year for a deeper journey into self discovery and skill development.
