The Rapha Clinic has been in operation for one year now and I have had the privilege to observe and participate in its growth. The staff at the clinic have a true commitment to helping those who come through their doors not only with their medical needs but their spiritual needs as well. Many people in this town and surrounding counties are out of work and have no means to pay to see a doctor. It is surmounting in numbers and growing. The clinic cannot see everyone. It takes many professional volunteers and general clinic staff each and every time it opens its doors. Cost to operate the clinic is on-going. I realize first hand that God is blessing this mission. When a need arises, the answer is just around the corner. I see volunteers give up so much of their time to helping the sick. The clinic will pray with these people if they are receptive. You will not find this at your local doctor's office. I am blessed each and every time I am called on to help. If all communities offered outreach services like Rapha, I am confident we would not have a health-care crisis and people in the community would know they were loved, respected and in return give back. There is something special about Rapha. When I am called on to help with a brochure, communication piece, I cannot turn them down no matter how busy I get. The mission is all inclusive and the total person's well being is attended to. Health is everything. It's the beginning in moving folks forward. What a mission! I am truly blessed to volunteer!
