Mission: To provide support and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and abuse within Central New Mexico and to serve as a community resource on issues regarding prevention and awareness of sexual violence.
Results: January-December 2023 Statistics: • Provided 488 Medical Accompaniments • Assisted 730 sexual assault survivors & 401 secondary survivors w/ 7,320 direct services • 24% of those served through RCCCNM were under the age of 17 years • Provided 3,874 counseling appointments to 241 sexual assault survivors • Agency Fielded 15,486 Calls • Community Education/Outreach/Primary Prevention: provided 89 Primary Prevention sessions in ABQ schools and additionally provided 190 Community Education presentation to a total of 7,091 program participants • Volunteers donated 7,480 hours
Target demographics: Established in 1973, the Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico (RCCCNM) provides sexual assault crisis services to victims every minute of every hour of every day. Sexual assault affects all age groups.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2023, the youngest rape victim RCCCNM assisted was less than one (1) year old and the oldest victim was 97 years old.
