Rank the Vote is doing tremendous work to advance the ball nationally on the important electoral reform that is ranked-choice voting (RCV). RCV is nonpartisan, and just a better tool for elections with more than two candidates--by removing the spoiler effect. Those that believe our election system is broken should very much consider supporting Rank the Vote to achieve more fair outcomes and better representation. Their work across more than 30 state chapters can't happen without the generous support of philanthropic donors.

Rank the Vote is a leader in the ranked choice voting sphere. They are organized and effective. I am a leader of a state organization that has worked with Rank the Vote for years. They have resources for almost everything and if they don't, they develop them. They have been incalculably helpful to the movement in our state.

RTV is focused on building grass roots support for rank choice voting -- a realistic way to improve our electoral system. It's grass roots movements that have brought about some of the most important cultural changes to the US: voting rights for women, civil rights, marriage equality. RTV brings our voices into legislatures to "help" them reform themselves via an improved voting process. We support groups in 28 states. Go to rankthevote.org for more info!

I am the Executive Director of Rank My Vote Florida, We have worked closely with Rank the Vote. US (RTV) for the past 3 years. Rank the Vote has been leading the effort to help States like Florida organize a grass roots campaign to introduce Ranked Choice Voting at local and state level elections. RTV provides us with many types of support. They have provided each state with a playbook of how to run a campaign and motivate volunteers and voters. We could not function without the support of Rank the Vote .US

The one reform to save America, ranked choice voting (RCV) is the most impactful and viable fix for our troubled political system. * David Brooks NY Times https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/31/opinion/voting-reform-partisanship-congress.html

As a novice organizer who cares deeply about our country, Rank The Vote (RTV) people have been invaluable in showing me the ropes AND with direct assistance to our state-level nonprofit, Better Ballot NC. Where we fell short, they helped us figure out how to close the gaps, often providing their own people to fill in while we developed local talent. While I am proud that BBNC is a grassroots nonprofit that operates on a shoestring with volunteer effort, RTV has come through with much-needed energy, expertise, and optimism. This has helped us to scale up and broaden our outreach. RTV has provided training, treasure, and talent to assist our efforts. While the treasure has not been in direct funding, they have been able to help us build and leverage our technology platform via the economies of scale they bring to the effort as nationwide partners. They train our volunteers when it's hard for us to do so. They provide a stream of high-quality resources and information. We are forever grateful.

Rank the Vote is at the cutting edge of election reform, supporting state organizations across the country to take pragmatic steps locally to build support and educate for ranked choice voting and other related reforms. Many volunteers in the movement are completely new to politics, looking for hope and a chance to reform things from the ground up, and Rank the Vote makes it possible for them to channel their efforts effectively. Before RtV, national funders might throw money at a reform effort that was already on the verge of winning, but with RtV organizations like mine in New York have been able to build a ground game and do the necessary education so that when an opportunity arises, we can seize it.
