They pimp pretty women out. christina is too competitive and they network on people.
their staff is lewd and crude and ignorant.
Beginning the shelter in memory of my son was just a humble idea. Randy (Tuffy) Sams was the most gentle, kindhearted child and he had such a heart for the nameless, ignored in our community. Texarkana had no shelter for its people and with grace and love, the shelter began. It has grown with the support of the community and the amazing, selfless staff to be an asset. It houses the oft forgotten and has created a lasting legacy that Randy would be proud of.
Making a difference in our community on a daily basis. Their dedication to their clients on an individual level is evident in the number of success stories they have been apart of. You can see they are truly changing lives.
First class place to get a help. The staff truly care about the clients, helping them in any way possible. They are unlike the rest and is the only place I recommend.
As the sister of Randy Sams, I never envisioned the legacy the Shelter would create for my family and the community. The shelter has grown from a humble vision of necessity to an absolute asset to the community. I have the utmost respect for the employees and volunteers that provide day to day support to a community of people who are often left voiceless. I have worked alongside the residents and watched as they regain their self worth and respect.
I’ve been donating to Randy Sams for years. I found out about the shelter after a loved one stayed while down on their luck. This shelter is so encouraging and helpful to those in need.
My son and I have been volunteering consistently the past few months at Randy Sam’s and the people that we’ve met along the way have made life-changing impacts. The employees that run Randy Sams are angels on earth and pour their heart and souls into this organization. I’m so happy we have such a great organization that offers several classes to help get people back on their feet. Thank you Randy Sams for bettering our community and hundreds of people’s lives.
What an awesome asset to our community! Not only do they provide the homeless and needy shelter, food and basic necessities but they help people envision and work toward a better future. They help them find jobs and have seen so many people obtain their first apartments and supply as much to help furnish the apartment as they can. They also have a program that helps train their residents for the workforce. I can personally say that their “Be the Blessing Bakery” is delicious. 23 has 6 dozen of their cupcakes and not only were they the cutest decorated in a spring theme but they were absolutely delicious! They are helping restore people through so many avenues!
I have been involved with Randy Adams Outreach Shelter for 8 years now. My greatest donation has been that of time, supporting various actives. The needs which the shelter provide for are both personal and vital. It is truly wonderful to meet people and hear the stories of how the personnel at Randy Sams have helped their clients. They live by the motto, “there, but for the grace of God, go I.” It is a personal passion they have for caring for a population who have unique needs and require genuine care and concern to meet those needs. The efforts of Randy Sams Outreach Shelter are most evident in the positive impact of the people they aid.
Randy sams is sadly a much needed member of our community. They not only give people a safe to stay but also offer programs to remove clients from the ranks of the homeless. Jennifer Laurent and staff go way above the call of duty for their clients. Thank goodness for Randy Sams shelter!!!
Almost 8 yrs ago, I came to Randy Sams after running away from Houston where I had been beaten up, severely, by a man who rented a room in our home. He was not in custody and police suggested I leave for my safety until he was locked up. I had nothing but the clothes on my back and multiple injuries. Randy Sams took me in, with no questions asked. I was safe, housed, fed and emotionally supported. Jennifer was very kind to me. I followed the rules and took advice. People cared for me before I even cared for me. I had never been homeless and penniless, before. I was beaten down in everyway but the people at Randy Sams knew what I needed. I met my husband of 7 yrs, while at the shelter. We have worked hard to have a beautiful home, vehicle, bills paid....and self respect. My husband and I met and married quickly and many told us it would never work but our marriage is my blessing. My husband works 60 hrs a week and is 8 yrs sober from alcohol. We credit Randy Sams with our "foundation" on which we have built our lives. Robert and I are forever grateful for the love, care and concern Randy Sams gave to us individually and as a family.
