I’ve been working at Rancho Relaxo for a little under a year. Every day I’m in awe of the lives these rescued animals are living now because of their fearless rescuers. The love and care each rescued animal receives is outstanding. Every animal has fresh water, food and plenty of room to roam every single day. They have everything they need and more. Rancho Relaxo not only saves these beautiful souls and ensures they live the rest of their lives happily and healthily, they also work to educate their team and the public on important topics regarding animal rescue. They inspire me and countless others to join, help and spread the word in this important mission that is animal rescue. Rancho Relaxo is heaven on earth for these animals. I couldn’t be more proud to say I work at Rancho Relaxo.

Rancho has long been a model of education and care for animals. It is so much fun to grow along side all of them. The more I learn about animals the more I love them, and in a society that blinds us to their value, rancho is a beacon. I love them fii oh r it because life is so much better every day knowing the amazing friends that you can find in animals ♥️♥️♥️

An absolutely wonderful clean facility where animals can finally take a sigh of relief after a not so kind or unsure past. They are treated her with love, compassion, and dignity. I’m so thankful we have a great reputable sanctuary near us.

I've been following Rancho Relaxo since the beginning and what they've grown into is just so special. These animals are beyond cared for & truly loved. They put their everything into this and it shows. The animals are lucky to live out their days here.

I discovered Rancho Relaxo years ago around the time Dragonlord was rescued. I think I learned of the rescue through Kitten Lady. To say that this rescue has made an impact on my life is such an understatement. Through sharing the lives and distinct personalities of their animals, and also sharing the cruel conditions they are rescued from, Rancho Relaxo caused me to begin to question my preconceived ideas about farm animals and modern farming practices in general. In 2019, after eating meat all my life, I adopted a vegetarian diet and have tried earnestly to cut dairy from my diet when I can. I also make better choices in purchasing vegan and cruelty free items. And I truly believe there is a trickle down effect - my young nieces ask all the time about my choice to eat vegetarian—I am the first person they have met to question the idea of eating animals. Even my mom who was aghast at the idea of me no longer eating meat now regularly makes vegetarian meals, for me and herself! I hope Caitlin and Len, and the whole team at Rancho Relaxo, understand the magnitude of positive change they are bringing to this world. I have made donations over the years and wish I could give more. Thank you for educating me by sharing your rescue and life.

I have followed Caitlin at Rancho Relaxo for many years. Her compassion for the animals is unmatched. I found Rancho Relaxo several years ago when Kitten Lady brought Fia into their care - this was the first farmed animal sanctuary I ever followed, and I’m so thankful for everything I’ve learned from them! The tireless work the Rancho crew does just to ensure constant comfortable lives for the animals is incredible. Many do not understand that caring for over 100 animals of various species in every kind of weather, 24/7 is a super power. No days off, no vacations, no "I just don't feel like it today" happens in sanctuary life. They literally give up their own lives for the sake of innocent ones.

I am a follower on social media of Rancho Relaxo. They are incredible leaders and shapers of social change. They do work that we desperately need (and many of us want) done but which so few can follow through on. Running a rescue is backbreaking, soul crunching work. Literally. It is unrelenting, massively expensive and takes you to hell, where you actually have to go to rescue so many precious creatures that we humans put in hell out of selfishness, greed and stupidity. The comfort many of us get from knowing Caitlin and Len and their team are there, and are on it, is indescribable. The very least we can do is assist financially wherever possible. These guys go into environments where the suffering is so unbearable most of us turn away and shut down. They bear witness and they hold a moral anchor for all of us, for decency and change that the beautiful species who share this earth have someone standing for them. On top of all that they educate and inform and advise on adoption services and care, and they lift our awareness about what we can do. I did grad school in NYC and the carriage horses’ situation broke my heart and caused me such grief and fury. Caitlin and Len have provided such wonderful information and help for me to advocate and raise my voice on a practice that must end. They’ve also introduced me to many other great rescues. Everyone at Rancho Relaxo goes above and beyond when it comes to compassion and care. They are constantly saving animals of all sorts...but it goes beyond that. I learned of this incredible animal sanctuary several years ago, began following it on social media, and quickly fell in love with Caitlin and Len and their staff and animals.
This past year has been an especially difficult one at Rancho Relaxo with a partner sanctuary dropping the ball, forcing Catilin and Len and friends to literally and figuratively pick up the pieces, rescue and rehome the animals that hadn't passed away, and restore a property that was dumped upon them.
I don't' know how they managed to keep moving forward after the amount of trauma that experience gave them, but their passion for saving animals and giving them the life they deserve helped a great deal. I became a monthly donor at that point, because how could I not?
I have made it a goal to go to NJ at some point in the next few years and visit Rancho Relaxo; I'm probably going to be awe-struck and have difficulty talking to the humans there, because i consider them literal rock-stars and am such a fan that I'll probably forget how to speak entirely, but I don't care if I embarrass myself. I would love to spend time helping out on the property, meeting the animals I've come to love as they live out their years in an incredible, positive, loving place like Rancho Relaxo.

I volunteer at Rancho Relaxo and it has been a great experience for me. Never before have I seen an animal sanctuary that is so clean and well organized. Caitlin, the founder and president, keeps the property well organized and all the animals are very healthy and well fed. Seeing the horses run around in the pastures, goats walking around, and the pigs rolling around in the mud makes Rancho look like the Disney World for animals. They live their lives out as happy as a kid at the candy store. I could not recommend any other sanctuary to visit other than Rancho Relaxo.

Rancho Relaxo is doing beautiful things. The couple who started it all is incredible. There volunteers, incredible. What they are doing for the animals, incredible. I donate to them monthly and began sponsoring hay for the animals this year when they offered the program. They don’t ask for much when it comes to donations and every little bit helps. They are so transparent with how your donations are really helping the cause and what they do with them. I couldn’t think of a better organization to contribute to. They really are out there making a difference for these beautiful animals. They were faced with a very difficult year in 2022 and through it all they have stepped up and shined like a beacon of light where it seemed so dark with what they were faced with. I’ve personally volunteered with them this year and the experience was incredible. They say don’t meet your hero’s. But that did not ring true with Caitlin and Len. They are just as kind, happy, and inspiring as they seem online. And truthfully even more so. They are doing good work here. I run a chicken rescue in NJ and when I needed placement for hens after a large rescue of hens slated to be slaughtered because they were "not laying enough eggs," Rancho Relaxo did not hesitate to step up and take in 12 of these lovely hens. Hi there, my name is Lisa and I have been supporting rancho relaxo for over a year now. I first started following them on Instagram, and then decided that they were a wonderful organization with great values towards animals. since then, I've learned a great deal about pigs, goats, and other great animals! I was excited this last week to see that they adopted to alpacas because I love them and think that they are the coolest and weirdest animals I know. my sister and I have been eating less meat as time goes by, and I believe this has something to do with following the great work of this and other animal sanctuaries. I even got my sister a "piglets are puppies too" shirt for Christmas!I believe this particular organization to be very honest and transparent in their dealings with others, and I am proud to support their work. I especially feel this way because I know that the owners of this sanctuary actually work other jobs in addition to running the sanctuary. A farm animal sanctuary that emphasizes helping other sanctuaries and putting a vegan message front and center, what more could you ask for??

I came across this non profit animal rescue just by chance on Instagram. I was drawn in by their amazing rescue stories and the way the continuously go above and beyond for the animals. Caitlyn gives her blood, sweat and tears to run the place 24/7, and I have no idea when she even sleeps. She’s also willing to take on the cases that most everyone else probably would not take on or they would just end up euthanizing the animal. Caitlyn fights for these animals and goes that extra mile.

The depth of their concern for animals is obvious. Hey put their whole lives into looking after the vulnerable, attend animal auctions to rescue who they can. They sacrifice a large part of their own life to care for animals that need help, Rancho Relaxo is wonderful!

I love this rescue! If I lived closer I would be a volunteer! They work hard and go trough hard times but it is all for the animals! I love and respect them from the bottom of my heart!

Rancho Relaxo provides so much exponential love and care to animals in need. The owners of this charity would do absolutely anything to save an animal in need and give them happy lives. They are the best!

Even thought Rancho Relaxo is far away from my home they still manage to engage me and make me feel involved all through their Instagram!

I only recently started following them on instagram and feel inspired to be a better person by every post they put up. I can only imagine the feeling of greatness they must experience by loving and taking care of animals that have been exposed to the most horrible sides of life.

They are genuin and amazing. They give everything for the animals they care for and it shows in their posts. Good days, bad days, Caitlin is real and spontaneous and a beautiful soul.

Just by following Rancho Relaxo on Insta, Love their Mission and their Message. They have saved so many animals that would've otherwise gone to slaughter. They have done so much, considering they're a small org. It's about time due recognition be given to smaller groups that are offering so much in terms of saving precious animal's lives.

Kind, selfless, hardworking people sacrificing their time and well-being in order to give a voice to those without. A wonderful, touching cause.

I started following Rancho Relaxo a little over a year ago and it was a specific video that Caitlin had posted that hit me right in the gut. I knew I wanted to be a vegetarian, but after watching this one video 4 or 5 times in a row and balling my eyes out right along with her, I knew I had to go vegan. She is so straightforward and never ceases to amaze me and all of her followers on her platforms with the hardwork, patience and dedication that it takes to run Rancho..and of course we absolutely cannot leave out her wonderful hubby Len! The bonds the both of them have with their animals is something to behold and gives hope to all of us that the world is changing a little bit at a time for the better. I am striving to live a more compassionate second half of my life and I gain my inspiration daily from Caitlin, Len and all the animals at Rancho Relaxo!

What Rancho Relaxo does for animals is unmeasurable. They are incredibly dedicated human beings & go above & beyond for all animals. So thankful for all their hard work & the love they continue to show towards the animals who don’t have a voice.

Incredibly dedicated sanctuary for animals!!! They continually serve animals that are abandoned, left for dead, up for slaughter and provide them with a safe secure living environment. They are educating the community on the deep lives of animals and what is possible with love and dedication to them.

This rescue inspired me to give up eating meat the day I discovered them December of 2016 and I haven’t looked back. They truly put their hearts and souls into rescuing animals, often to the point sacrificing their own mental, emotional, and physical well-being in the process. They educate and share their rescue stories in a vulnerable and honest way. They remain courteous and understanding when educating in the midst of ignorance. They are helpful and nonjudgmental to those who still eat meat/animal products but are looking to change or become more educated. They truly make you feel like you are apart of Rancho Relaxo with the constant updates, cute pictures, education, and information. I love donating monthly and knowing that it’s going to their amazing cause.
