I believe in the Ragpicker INC. I have been in recovery for 15 years and believe we have to give it away to keep it. I have witnessed Michele Granruth (Shelly) take her personal time to help the clients at several of the locations. Shelly goes out of her way to help local residents to get clean, and find a new way to live.

In the past several years I have helped get some of the houses ready, and was astounded by the time they took to provide a home like enviroment for clients. The Ragpicker has the nicest recovery houses that I have ever seen.

The ragpicker has a wonderful group of people who all give selfishly to help the suffering addict. Everyone pitches in equally to help one another, it truly feels like family whenever you hang out with the staff and clients.

The Ragpicker is a new community based non-profit organization that prides itself on giving everyone the opportunity to recover from drugs or alcohol. In most companies before any one will assist you the first question is "Do you have any money?" As far as the president, Michele Granruth, is concerned - - her first question is "Do you want to live a drug or alcohol free life?" For those that answer yes, she and her dedicated staff make it possible to people who would not otherwise be afforded the opportunity due to financial status. The Ragpicker will link individuals and families to direct services that will allow them to recover in healthy environments so that their journey to recovery will be wholesome and pleasant.
