Ragan's HOPE Foundation National Headquarters

We have five healthy kids, and one terminally ill child. Ragan's Hope has supported our sick child as well as her siblings when it comes to events and holidays. Ragan's Hope communication has been consistent and has even improved over the years. We now have a dedicated person who keeps up with our family and faithfully prays. Thank you to all the volunteers, donors, and Administrators with Ragan's Hope!

Ragan’s Hope has been such a sweet blessing to our family over the years, between the thoughtful messages, calls, cards, etc. I’m beyond thankful that God has blessed us so many people who love and care for our family as we navigate his heart disease.

I have been so blessed to have been a volunteer for Ragan's Hope from the beginning. I first met Delena, the Founder, when we worked together in a pastoral care department at a church. I knew her heart was to help families that had children with illnesses and injusries...long term. Delena knows first hand what it is like to have a child with multiple health challenges. Her daughter, Ragan has spent a lot of time in hosptials. Delena and the volunteers are passionate about helping families endure...through the unkown.

We are beyond grateful for the help from Ragan’s Hope. When our girl was diagnosed our lives froze. We were in a bubble where we still remain. Everything we do, every free moment we have, is focused on our kids....one who has constantly been in the hospital, the other who is constantly needing to be flexible to change despite his young years. 
Even though we froze, life around us continued...quite literally. Bushes, trees, perennials, worst of all weeds went unchecked and untamed. We simply didn't have the time or energy to take it on tasks outside when inside was in it's own kind of chaos.
And yet, that hung over us. We were embarrassed to have even helpers come to our house with the yard so overgrown and unkempt and scary looking. When they came into our lives and offered help on this front it was a huge relief. Cathy Anne organizing options and then Paul and his amazing team executing the work truly brought joy. Our kiddos can play in the yard again. Our house doesn't look like a wicked witch lives inside. Our lives feel less chaotic and I don't have a pit in my stomach every time I turn into my own driveway.
We can't thank them enough for prayers and of course the kindness and generosity of this amazing service being provided.

I volunteer for Ragans Hope because of their unique support for the families of children with significant medical situations. Their organization was vetted through our church and recognized Ragans Hope as an organization they would recommend volunteering with. They are there to be a listening ear from volunteers who are or have been in similar circumstances. They offer various types of practical support that help the day to day concerns of families that they are in a relationship with . From having their prayer Team pray for them, to sending them cards , to visiting them in the hospital to having someone mow their yard to helping with Uber rides to providing a baby bed (though they are not a financial institution) . They fill a unique role that just helps with everyday challenges to hopefully ease just a small burden in their every day life .

I have volunteered mainly for Christmas Adoption and periodically provide miscellaneous things when needed. Ragan’s Hope is there long term for the families and helping them see Christ through those actions. Thankful to be apart of this team.

As the founder of Ragan’s Hope. I am amazed at the volunteers and supporters who make our mission possible. I am able to see firsthand the needs being met for the families globally coming through the foundation and am able to hear their appreciation.
Our volunteers are very caring when working with those being supported. They have a clear understanding of our mission and work hard to ensure the vision is being met.

This organization is so responsive and so focused on helping families in need due to unexpected circumstances! I reached out to them for help for our daughter. She had to travel out of state and stay in a hotel for more than a week while her child underwent daily tests and exams. The local Ronald McDonald house did not have any availability, so she would have had to pay for a hotel out of pocket, a significant expense for a single mom who has a child with multiple medical issues and is only able to work part time. Ragan's Hope stepped in and covered the cost of her hotel, which greatly benefitted her and reduced her stress level immensely, and they responded very quickly to our request for assistance. They also provided emotional support which she greatly needed. I cannot say enough about this wonderful organization! In the past I have been blessed to help with their efforts in providing Christmas and Easter gifts for families as well as special needs throughout other times of the year, and now that I've personally seen how they blessed our daughter, I will continue to donate and also volunteer whenever I can. Thank you, Ragan's Hope, for all that you do to help families who are challenged and overwhelmed when life throws unanticipated curveballs their way!

I was introduced to Ragan's HOPE through a work colleague. Donating with Ragan's HOPE is quick and easy. I am able to see that my donations are going to REAL people in need, at the times that they need it most. Thank you Ragan's HOPE for all you do in service to others.

Ragan's HOPE is one of the best foundations around! They have been so helpful. They have helped tremendously with expenses we have had regarding our son's cancer. Ragan’s Hope is a wonderful Christian organization that supports ill children and their families. My husband and I have been able to help support Ragan’s Hope on a monthly basis which is set up on our credit card. We also buy Christmas gifts for the children. They make it so easy for the donors. A wish list is emailed to you and then you get to chose what you would like to give.
It is such a blessing to give back and we know that our monies are being used in a great way. Ragan’s Hope is an awesome non-profit organization that I hope will be around for years to come to continue to serve families and little humans and share God’s love and light.

We have been supported by Ragan’s Hope and they continue to do so. This organization is one that goes alongside of you throughout your journey. They have supported us with various assistance like back to school needs, Christmas needs and ongoing support that cannot be measured. We are glad to have their volunteers assistance.

My church has been a supporter of Ragan's HOPE for several years. I am continually amazed at the love and compassion for supporting and caring for these families. Lisa and Delena and their volunteers go the extra mile to help struggling families with children who need special care. There are many ways to care for these children. Our church has made donations of supplies and money. But my favorite way we support these kiddos is by sending Birthday cards. I lead a group of young women, ages 7-17 and when we meet each month, all of the girls sign birthday cards for each child with a birthday that month and we send them out. We pray over each child. The girls love to participate because they are able to support kids their own age. Supporting such a wonderful organization gives us great joy!

I met Delena quite a few years ago. I volunteered for Ragan's Hope for a couple of years before moving. It is an organization that genuinely cares for the patient as well as the family. They go above and beyond everytime. Volunteering for them was very rewarding and fun. She understands what the families are going through. Everyone in the organization prays over these families non stop. I am so very proud to say I have volunteered for them and been a part of changing these people's lives.

Ragan’s Hope is a nonprofit that I believe in helping. They not only help the child that is affected but they help the parents and families. I can support individuals, families all year long. I can donate to this organization in so many ways all year long and help a family during challenging times in their life.

Ragan's HOPE stepped in when my family needed help the most. We had to raise significant funds in order to get our son, which significant special needs, a service dog. We hit a wall with our efforts and Ragan's HOPE allowed us to close the gap on our goal and understood the situation we were in. I'll forever appreciate and remember the support we were given, it's changed our life for the better. The organization's desire to help others is something that changes lives on a daily basis and I'm grateful that my son's and mine were two of them.

So heartwarming to be able to help families , especially parents who are dealing with so much and still trying to make everything work for ALL of their children. This charity offers you a chance to give in the most rewarding way as a parent - I hope it continues to grow and help more families in need! The Charity is organized and you know that you are touching people directly and exactly where the money is going.

Ragan's HOPE is doing great things to encourage patients and their families - often in some of the most trying and uncertain times they'll face. A letter of encouragement or a gift card to offset mounting expenses goes a long way.
They also make it easy for volunteers to get involved in a variety of ways, to the level of involvement that fits for them. Whether it's being the feet on the ground, or a casual supporter, there's a role for anyone who wants to get involved.

Ragan’s Hope provides much needed resources to families in need due to medical challenges. These resources are not only financial. Faith, community, and true support in all things, big and small.

The commitment of the team and integrity with which they serve is phenomenal.

I am a board member, donor, and (not as active as I should be) volunteer to Ragan's Hope. I have been associated with this organization since near day 1 and while I have to admit my bias, I do not take associations with non-profits lightly. I have worked with many organizations in different capacities. Some are run well but the mission of the organization is either unclear or goes off track easily. Others have a clear vision but are not well managed. Ragan's Hope accomplishes both: is it well run and has a well developed mission and purpose. In fact, its ministry is unique. Serving parents of sick children is not something many organizations do, but Ragan's Hope does it, and does it very well. Delena's vision, experience, and her ability to inspire and motivate the many volunteers who give their time and talents to the ministry is nothing short of amazing. I know words on a website can be hollow when evaluating an organization to give to or one to partner with when one is needing a particular set of services. But trust me in knowing that Ragan's Hope is led by the right people, it manages its resources well, and has a God-focused ministry to help those who need help.

I have been able to be a volunteer for this organization. They not only support the family coming through the organization but also focus on the volunteer needs as well. Truly blessed to be a volunteer.

Ragan’s HOPE feeds my soul as much as it helps the family that is in need of assistance. I am able to help families who may have a child in the hospital or under medical care, by providing meal cards, or helping purchase gifts for their other children that are in the household. I learned of this nonprofit from a colleague at work and wished more people knew the good they are doing all over the country.

This nonprofit continues to support our family - ongoing. We want to thank all the donors/supporters so much for the much needed school supplies. It seems since all that went on with our son it has been hard to get ahead and Ragan's HOPE seems to come at the perfect time with support. Especially with things like assistance for school supplies.

Our family has had a wonderful experience with Ragan's HOPE. They have been supporting us through one of the most difficult times of our lives. Our son endured an burn injury and the odds were for him not to survive. With Ragan's HOPE support, we were able to focus on the needs of our son knowing that provisions would be made for our daily support while miles away from home. This group of volunteers are amazing in knowing what we needed, even when we didn't express the need.

Thank you for always being supportive. Christmas gifts. Random letters and emails of love and support really put a smile on outer faces when enduring tough times.

I was able to volunteer for Ragan’s HOPE and have absolutely been moved by the work done for families! A child has a need and Ragan’s HOPE takes care of the WHOLE family. I am thankful that I was able to volunteer my time to such a great organization.

I have been volunteering with Ragan’s HOPE for over 7 years. It is wonderful to be a part of a team that gives back to others. We deliver Easter baskets, School backpacks and supplies, food for Thanksgiving and Christmas gifts to the families we support. We also visit the families when they are in the hospital, bring them meals, pray for them and keep in touch with them regularly. We provide support to the families when their child has a catastrophic illness or injury to endure and embrace the future all under the leadership of Ragan’s mom, Delena. While helping these families it’s amazing the blessings that come back personally!

Ragan’s Hope is considered part of my support system. They came into our lives when my daughter’s health took a turn for the worse. They were there with food, books, toys and prayer when we needed it most... and often when we didn’t know we needed it.

I have been blown away by the heart, initiative, and grace of Ragan’s Hope’s founder and leadership team since joining as a volunteer last summer.

When a child is born to extreme hardship that requires: round-the-clock care, speciality doctors; appointments that interfere with careers and income-making opportunities; and increased emotional toll of parenting in general - where does one turn?

Ragan’s Hope.

Ragan’s Hope was founded with the unconditional love and empathy for all parents who strive to care for their children in the best way possible.

I, myself, was born 7 1/2 weeks early, with two congenital heart defects. My mother and father did not have access to a non-profit such as Ragan’s Hope. I’ve discussed at length the fear, worry, loneliness, and desperation that comes with having a child with any special circumstance. I connect to this unexpected journey parents face and when I learned of Ragan’s Hope’s mission - I had to be involved.

By the Grace of God, I am alive and overcame dire medical challenges. My mother and father weathered that storm with few friends and family. That story, that gratitude they felt for my health and the help of neighbors, friends, and family, planted a seed to pay it forward. What better way than to volunteer for such an amazing organization that truly has heart, and seeks to fills the gaps wherever they lay, for families and communities internationally.

Each volunteer works tirelessly to provide logistical, psychological, and emotional support to families while complicated surgeries and being done.

I cannot state how often the psychological, spiritual, and emotional health of families struggling with these issues are neglected. From a lack of resources or knowledge of where to go.

Ragan’s Hope identified a need over ten years ago and bridged the gap to help countless families.

I am blessed to be in a position to help others.

I am blessed to have met Delena and come to know this organization and look forward to bringing as much good to the world as possible. We are needed now more than ever.

Ragan’s Hope - Always.

This nonprofit continues to support families longterm. They are not an organization that gives a quick fix to a problem...they walk alongside of the family to assist in embracing their future. Families are appreciative and as a donor knowing the funds are meeting the needs of the families makes me appreciate all their efforts as a foundation.

I volunteered with this foundation over thanksgiving as well as valentines. Each time it was very organized and they were clear on their mission. I appreciate being given an opportunity to help and am amazed by what Ragan’s Hope has done for kids everywhere.

I have made blankets for the children who have to spend so much time in hospitals. I don't live close enough to help out physically but making blankets was a way for me to not only help but to take care of my husband through his battle with cancer. It helped me as much as it helped others. My daughter was the team lead in Louisiana and every time she came to my home in Texas I had a pile of blankets for her to take back. Same for my grand daughter, when she came down to see me in Texas, she would take a pile of blankets back to Dallas where they were distributed to whom ever needed them. Also took up collections at my church for gift cards to be sent back with them as well. Every little bit helps not only the children and their families but it helped my soul get over the loss of my husband. Phyllis

I have been a volunteer with Ragan's Hope for over 10 years. I have been a team lead in Louisiana where my husband and I would reach out to families in our state who needed prayer and assistance. I currently send out sympathy cards to the Ragan's Hope families who have lost a child throughout the United States. I love the serving heart of this ministry who assists families with children facing catastrophic injuries or illnesses.

My family has been a recipient of excellent care and compassion from this nonprofit for the past eight years. I am the brother of a child who has special needs. My brother has a traumatic brain injury with a multitude of medical complications as a result of his injury. His brain injury has been a struggle within my family since 2004 when he was injured. Ragan's Hope has been there for my family through all of our ups and downs associated with my brother's medical condition. They have provided necessary aid that has truly helped our situation and our spirits with some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I feel as though they care about the services they provide. While they cannot magically mend all of our hurt, they improve my out look and that gives me hope.

Amazing folks!!! It is apparent they have a passion for service and for the families they assist!!!

My family has been supported for several years now by Ragan's HOPE. They have been with us when friends and realatves were not...those times we felt so alone. The support has been from gas cards, meals, back to school, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We love getting our ongoing calls to checkin with us and lend an ear to hear our struggles.

Our family has been supported by Ragan's HOPE and they are wonderful. The continued follow up from volunteers brought us joy knowing that we were not forgotten. During hard times like we endure often times leaves a hopeless feeling but their support guided us to get through those times.

It is an honor to serve alongside such wonderful volunteers, leadership team and supporters. Seeing families being supported through this organization is amazing. The strength of this organization is due to the volunteers which allows families to be served long term.

We were in a pinch, needing new shoes for new orthotics, and Ragan's Hope really rose to the challenge to help us get our son what he needed.

Ragan's HOPE founder reached out to my family right after my son was diagnosed in June of this year. They have been such a blessing to us and consistently call or text checking up on Jason. They follow his FB blog about his journey and have their prayer warriors constantly praying for him and our family. If we need any material things to help or hands to do anything I know they will be there for us!! They have an awesome organization who truly cares about the well being of my son and my entire family. God bless them.

I have volunteered with Ragan's HOPE for over 3 years. We provide gas cards to allow the family to get the child to an important medical appointment, meals, clothing, school supplies, of help with paying a bill. Those are all important and help ease a parent's worries. But, often the best way we help is just to lend a listening ear as a mom or dad vents about what they are going through. The child's illness effects the entire family and sometime just knowing they have someone to listen means everything to them. We cry with them when times are bad or uncertain, and we also rejoice with them when they celebrate even small victories!

I have served with this organization since it started and have seen hundreds of families receive support. It is an honor to be involved and making a difference in others lives. The mission is to not only help families learn to endure but also embrace their new normal.

Glad to be apart of this foundation and see the volunteers give of their time to support the families coming through the organization. Families are being supported long-term; this is not a group that comes and goes...long-lasting support is being given.

Our family have benifitted from this foundation. They haven't stopped supporting us when others have abandon us. I cannot say enough about this organization and its volunteers.

Ragan's HOPE provides an amazingly well-rounded support system for parents and families of young children. Yes they provide meals, groceries, mail encouraging cards, make hospital visits, make home-deliveries of Easter/Back-to-School/Thanksgiving items, offer educational support and lift each other up in prayer...but it goes deep than that. It's people connecting with other people on a personal level. It's people bonding with other people in a unique way. It's people helping other people to grow personally, mentally and spiritually.

They were the first to assist my family with a meal when my son was in the hospital. They also assisted me with gas so I could attend a job training program. My family receives assistance with Thanksgiving meals, back to school supplies, Easter baskets and more.

I've just started volunteering with Ragan's Hope this last year and it has been an amazing experience and I can't wait for more! It's helped me connect with people, hear their stories, and help them with their needs .By giving back to them and helping I've been able to learn and see in action how small things can have a big impact. Even if it's just a bag with a few things to help make their lives easier they're always so grateful and I'm happy I could be apart of that. It's a great experience, great staff, and for a great cause.

It is truly a blessing to serve along side of such wonderful volunteers. They give of their time to the families being supported and are supportive of the organization's mission.

I have been a volunteer for the past 3 years and personally experienced the powerful impact Ragan's HOPE has on the families we serve. I've heard stories of parents brought to tears, I've received emails from incredibly gracious parents and I've read testimonies from parents who don't know where they would be today without the support of Ragan's HOPE. We're an organization that covers all bases with families from the minor details of sending a card to let them know someone is praying for them to sitting beside them while their child undergoes surgery. It's so inspiring and such a blessing to be a part of a team that helps shape the lives of others!

I can't begin to say what Ragan's Hope Has done for me any two babies because there's not enough words to say how grateful and blessed we are to have them in our lives. They are more than just a support team and a prayer team. They are family to us and I know that we can always count on them to be there for us day in and day out. They have been here for me and my family in more ways than I can count and I am very grateful to have them in our lives.

I have been involved with Ragan's Hope for several years. I love being involved with a foundation that supports children with severe illnesses & injuries. Although at times, the families & their stories can really tug at my heartstrings... it is a true blessing to be a part of their lives. Ragan's Hope provides a lot of resources from meals to the families ( at home... or in the hospital ) , gift cards to assist with gas, food, or clothing...to getting furniture donated and assist in the moving. Many families spend long hours, days, weeks...in the hospital. Ragan's Hope is there from the beginning...and on-going...into the future. My daughter was chosen as a superstar in 2014 and we now volunteer with Ragan's HOPE and Night of Superstars. Ragan's HOPE helps so many families in so many ways....from prayer to moving furniture to gift cards. Please take a moment to help support such a giving community!

I volunteer with Ragan’s Hope and have had the opportunity to see many lives impacted through this organization. It is a huge blessing in my life to connect with the children, parents and other partners that are committed to changing lives through a very difficult circumstance for the families we reach out to. My children are impacted as they “embrace the future by providing financial, emotional and spiritual support in the name of Christ” to families and kids who might not otherwise ever experience the care and love extended through Ragan’s Hope. No matter the age or ability, everyone has a purpose with Ragan’s Hope!

We joined this organization last year as volunteers. I have volunteered for other organizations, but non of them were like this one. This is the most rewarding experience I have ever had, to see the faces of the families and children that we are able to help and to see the gratitude that they have is a feeling like no other. These families and kids are so awesome. To see Night of the superstars last year for the first time so so amazing to me, it taught me so much about the families and children we are able to help. To see the struggles that these families go through, and to see the children not only conquer the daily and monthly and yearly challenges that they face, but to look at life so graciously and they are so fun and full of life, it truly is inspiring and amazing. This is a great organization doing great things for well deserving families!

My grand-daughter was chosen to be one of the East Texas Superstars last year. What a difference it made in her own self image - she truly saw herself as beautiful and she rocked the Red Carpet! We are now all paying it forward and supporting Ragan's Hope in any way that we can. I recommend anyone with a heart for children to join these efforts!

I have been volunteering for 2 years now with Ragan's Hope and have met some wonderful families in Louisiana! I enjoy getting to know them, pray for them, and assist them with whatever we can. We drive to visit families from Lafayette to New Orleans!

My son had open heart surgery. His father and I had no money and didn't even know how we would eat. Our son just had surgery and we weren't even thinking about eating anyway. Ragan's HOPE founder drove over an hour in DFW area traffic to bring us dinner. I will never forget that. They have also paid my electric bill, provided gas cards so I could go to work, given my boys Easter baskets and backpacks with school supplies. I've experienced their love firsthand and will forever be grateful.

When I started volunteering for Ragan's Hope, I was really excited about what was being done for the families, but also about what I could do, very quickly it became what Ragan's Hope was doing for me as well .Feeling very blessed to be a part of an organization, who cares so much about people who are in need of the hands and feet of Jesus.

Wow, where to begin on what Ragan's HOPE has done for my family... My son Brody has been in and out of the hospital since he was born. He was born in renal failure and has had many secondary complications, but daily he proves he has a strong will through and through!

Ragan's HOPE came into my life a little over a year ago from our palliative care doctor. My son was in the hospital and very sick and his birthday party was fast approaching. I was feeling the pressure and Ragan's HOPE came to the rescue! They organized the cake, helped me plan all the decorations, and they have been there for us continually over the past year.

We have faced very scary situations with my son and Ragan’s HOPE has been there through it all. Sometimes it’s with a phone call during his surgery to take my mind off the present circumstances or being able to confide in someone who doesn’t judge me when I say

“I am scared about the future of my child...” Other times it’s a visit from a volunteer just to say hello and hug your neck, just knowing that someone is praying for your family, or a surprise meal delivery after eating the same food in the hospital cafeteria for weeks.

I could go on and on about how Ragan's HOPE has become my extended family. I can’t say “thank you” enough to Ragan's HOPE... but from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you have done and continue to do for me and my family. I honestly am blessed to have met each and every one of you.

Hi, I met with the director of Ragan;s Hope to see how we might partner and help each other with the clients we serve. The compassion and desire to help families in need that Ragan's hope shared with me is right in line with what we do in our non-profit. It is encouraging to know that there are services like Ragan's Hope to encourage and help families get back on there feet and feel support from the community. I hope this helps Ragan's Hope to continue doing what they love to do.

There are truly no words to describe the impact Ragan's Hope has had and will continue to have on countless families with disabled or sick children. I founded a charitable event called Night of Superstars and was in the process of forming my own 501c3 when I met Delena and realized they were already doing everything I had in mind for these types of families, plus providing a long list of additional services that one could never even realize were needed unless you've been in these particular situations. Now... as a volunteer, member of the executive leadership team and donor, I can't begin to express how blessed I am to be part of such an incredible and annointed organization!

I am always proud to declare that I serve on the board of this nonprofit that serves the families and children who are enduring catastrophic medical situations. Lending help, hope, and love is what we do best. Most of us who are associated with Ragan's Hope have personally experienced the overwhelming event of having a child in crisis. You can never truly know the relevance and importance of standing beside a needy family, unless you have witnessed it firsthand. I hope everyone who knows someone who fits this category will give Ragan's Hope a chance to minister.

As a Board Member, I am so thrilled to be a part of a nonprofit organization like Ragan's Hope. I am very proud of our entire team and love the vision of Delena to continue supporting our families in need. Our goal is with God's blessings to help families embrace the future with love and hope, in spite of whatever illness or injury their child may be enduring, by providing assistance. Assistance weather, logistical, emotional, spiritual or financial. Delena and the team, do a wonderful job connecting with our families and delivering the required assistance consistently with love and joy. I personally have experienced this with one sweet family during one Thanksgiving Holiday in which Ragan's Hope found special handicap housing to a single unemployed mother of 3...a teenage girl, a young 7 year old, and an autistic 5 year old boy. This is one of many, many examples Ragan's Hope has helped our families. Personally, it was inspiring to see the help we provided for them and so incredibly fulfilling to be a part of that, especially after seeing how grateful and thankful the family was. I love Ragan's Hope and I love how we are making a difference!

I have been volunteering with this awesome organization for 2 years now and I am still amazed by the Work God is doing on a daily basis through Ragan's Hope. I have met some wonderful families and have grown in my faith by volunteering with Ragan's Hope!

So many times, families are blindsided by the birth defect, illness, or injury of a child. There is no way to be completely prepared to handle all that is involved in caring for the patient and continue to maintain other aspects of life. Ragan's HOPE can be counted on to step into the gap and provide help wherever it is needed. As the grandmother of a child who has benefited from Ragan's HOPE, it is my honor to volunteer with this wonderful, miraculous foundation. I strongly encourage EVERYONE to support Ragan's HOPE, remember Ragan's HOPE in case of a need, and get involved as a volunteer. Be a part of a community of caring people who provide real tangible help to families in crisis.

Having the unique experience of seeing Ragan's HOPE come to being from the passion and vision of it's founder is why I believe so much in this organization and its mission. Rarely does a foundation have the person that it is named for available to remind us of it's purpose, so when a family meets Ragan they see hope. Each volunteer serves with compassion and commitment, which is modeled by the leadership, each using his or her own unique gifts to meet the needs of our families from hospital visits to mowing a yard to sitting quietly in a waiting room with a parent. There are a multitude of non-profits seeking people to give of their time, talent and yes their donations, but if one truly wants to see how God works through them then come be apart of Ragan's HOPE and see all that He can and does accomplish.

I have so much respect for Delena and Ragan and all that they have done growing this wonderful organization. Ragan's Hope has been such a blessing to so many families facing very difficult times, many of which seem like there is no "hope". When God tells us to "not be discouraged or afraid for the Lord our God is with you wherever you go", he meant it. Families have received food, housing, clothing, bedding, school supplies, entertainment, and so much more in times where they feel so overwhelmed with their lives. So many of us are blessed not to have to face terminal illness, or disease, especially when it involves our children. Unfortunately there are many families that do face this reality, and Ragan's Hope is there for them all along the way. I have witnessed first hand what Ragan's Hope means to a family that had no money, nowhere to go, and was trying to give their child one last Christmas before a terminal illness took them to heaven. Ragan's Hope was with them all along the way, making sure they were there for them, providing Christmas, meals, and fellowship along the way. I'm sure many could give you story after story, but my intent is that people understand the wonderful work that Ragan's Hope does, it takes very special people to have the strength to do this day in and out.

I'm a proud member of the Board of Directors, and I can't think of a more worthwhile organization than Ragan's Hope. If you want to volunteer, or support financially, please reach out as this is the only way the organization can continue with God's work.

God has not only blessed me with the opportunity to witness what Ragan’s HOPE does for families, but He has also allowed me to be a member of the Leadership Team. Yes, He deserves all the glory and all the praise. Being a volunteer and team member of Ragan’s HOPE has literally changed my life. When my godson, Gabriel, was born prematurely and fighting for his life, Ragan’s HOPE was there and has never left. They sent Gabriel’s mother (which is my best friend), cards to let her know that someone was there. They have provided her with prayer, listening ear and so much more. Gabriel will be two years old this September and I smile and give God thanks when I think about what Ragan’s HOPE has done for my extended family. I can go on and on about this organization. But the best part is sitting back and watching what Ragan’s HOPE does for families in our community, state and nationwide. If you are reading this and want to get involved, PLEASE DO! We all seem to have so little time. We also know it is good to give back to the community, but sometimes it's hard to discern where your time will be best used. Ragan's HOPE is such a giving organization, and they know exactly how to utilize the resources made available to them. Whether it's someone's time, gift cards for groceries, making meals, hospital visits and more, you know your time, efforts and resources are used effectively and efficiently to make the best impact on the families in the community. There's a place for anyone here who wants to serve, and they truly appreciate the help. It's a place where the whole family can serve, and that is just so hard to find!

The volunteers and administrators of Ragan's Hope Foundation are passionate, committed, patient individuals. They have helped so many families both through their own organization and other non-profits they have partnered with. I hope I can continue to spread the word about their organization throughout my state so others can be aware of their services.

I became aware of Ragan's Hope initiallly at a community Respite Care meeting and quickly developed a great relationship with the staff and volunteers. I am a Licensed Clinial Social Worker at a Children's Hospital and I work with the chronically ill population. Ragan's Hope has been a great support for our patients and their families and they continue to be available any time that we make new referrals or to provide additional assistance to families previously referred. They exhibit such heartfelt compassion and love to those they serve and have never turned a family away! I am amazed at how much personal involvement the founders of this great organization give. They do not just "oversee" the paperwork and volunteers, but they actually personally visit the families and participate in activities put on by Ragan's Hope to honor and support the children. I highly recommend Ragan's Hope!!!

As a social worker at a children's hospital, it can be very challenging and daunting to find resources for families caring for children with special needs. Ragan's Hope provides comprehensive services unlike any other agency and their compassion is endless. Of all the nonprofits I refer families to, Ragan's Hope is the best and I'm inspired each day by the founder's committment to empower families coping with chronic illness. Our hospital's social work department is more effective because of Ragan's Hope and we are very grateful for the many different types of support families receive. Ragan herself is also one of the best things about this nonprofit and her life story of all that she has overcome instills hope in our daily lives. She has taken the time to personally reach out to the children at our hopsital and it has been very meaningful for them since they can relate to Ragan easily.

During my daughter's hospitalization, Ragan's Hope not only helped my family with things such as meals, respite care for my younger children, and whatever we needed to help us during that critical time, they also provided emotional support, which helped getting thru the crisis a little bit easier. Even today, 3 years later, they still offer support anytime we need it. Ragan's Hope has been a Godsend for my family, and because of their wonderful works of faith and giving, I became a volunteer to also give back and help others as i was helped by Ragan's Hope!

The people involved with Ragan's HOPE go above and beyond daily meet the needs of the families who are supported. The Volunteers are equipped to fill in the gaps where family and friends are not able. Helping parents endure their situation and embrace the future are goals that Ragan's HOPE takes very seriously as per the Mission Statement and it shows daily! I personally have heard from many many families that they do not know how they would have gotten through each day without the support from Ragan's HOPE. In addition, from Volunteers, I have heard over and over how their lives are enriched by having the opportunity to help someone who is hurting and how they are the ones who are truly blessed!
