RACHELS NETWORK INC

Programs: Networking & education programs - rachel's network organized two member events, our annual meeting and fall retreat, as well as regional and online events. During these events, members learned from experts about interrelated challenges to the environment, human and ecosystem health, and community well-being across a wide range of topics, as well as programs working to mitigate these concerns. Our meetings and events also informed members about changes and developments in the world of philanthropy and women's leadership. These forums provided members with the opportunity to network, build connections between like-minded individuals and groups, and define new areas of interest for funding. Our annual report, biannual newsletters, and weekly e-digest publications also supported these efforts. Members made use of our private listservs for ongoing sharing of ideas and dialogue on topics of interest.

outreach programs - rachel's network increased our outreach programs to organizations and projects on behalf of our members. We partnered with multiple organizations to learn about and fund environmental protection, women's leadership, communications, and community development efforts in which our members took particular interest. We sought out and researched organizations doing innovative and effective work to enhance, protect, and educate about the environment in a variety of ways, and brought

leadership development and placement - rachel's network continued to offer members our board placement service connecting members with leadership opportunities at national environmental organizations. We acted as fiscal sponsor for members' individual projects. We created a variety of print and online publications to highlight recent achievements, and promote members' individual and collective accomplishments.
