Mission: The mission of rabun paws 4 life is to make a positive difference in rabun county by providing a no-kill animal control, service and shelter to care for and protect animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment
Programs: Rabun paws 4 life inc is a no kill animal control service and shelter. During this fiscal year the shelter adopted out 431 animals, transferred 403 animals to other no kill facilities for adoption. 887 animals were taken in by the shelter either as rescues or owner surrenders. There were 850 animals that were spay/neuters. Rabies vaccines were given. All animals were implanted with a microchip. There were 50,199. 4 animal care days. There were community education outreach programs. The animal control unit operated the entire year responding to animal cruelty reports, dog and cat bites and animal pickups.
