I was taking care of my feral ,who I socialized and recently gave birth to 8 kittens.(8 weeks old). Momma cat was beat. My problem is that Linda Wassner was taking the kittens to the vet for their 1st visit and she would not return to me. She came over with a bag of kitty food upon their supposed return to me and momma cat. At the vet she text me she was not bringing back to me with no reason. I was extremely upset and causing distress to momma cat who was crying the moment she to them. Again I thought she was bringing back, I asked that she give me one kitten to sooth momma to no avail. She was totally blind to emotions of my cat. Sometimes you take on ore than one can handle. Money Money Money If you can ignore feelings of one cat you know their are more. Thisi action was cruel to momma cat and myself. Momma was in such poor health that she passed 3 days later.
I found RU4MERESCUE while searching for a senior cat. They had a pair of cats that needed to be adopted together if possible. There was a short 2 minute video posted for Blind Charley and Sweet Sarah that made me cry. I went to the Boynton Beach PetsMart to be interviewed as a potential new Mom for Charley and Sarah. After setting up an appointment to meet Charley & Sarah at their foster home I spent 2 weeks preparing for their arrival. Linda, Ruth and Debbie spent as much time as I needed to answer my questions and help prepare me for my new forever kitties. I was even set up with a mobile vet for Charley so he can be taken care of @ home.
Debbie, their foster Mom, gave me everything that had been in Charley's life right down to the litter box to help ease his transition to a new home. Both cats have been a complete joy and have acclimated wonderfully thanks to the guidance of this Rescue Group.
