Working with Quigley House over the past 3 years had truly been a dream. Our team is so dedicated to survivors and to each other and we work fabulously together. We have amazing management as well that are supportive of not only our survivor’s needs but our team’s needs as well. I couldn’t imagine working for a better non-profit than Quigley House !
My experience with QH as been amazing. Very helpful and compassionate experience all the way around. I wish I could give 10 stars.
Quigley House was a place that helped a friend and her kids in the mid 90's. They had an emergency situation and Quigley House were there for them. I said when I get in a position to volunteer I will volunteer for Quigley House. Planning to call next week to get my volunteer assigment.
Probably not the place to question, but I don't see any other. I live in the Milwaukee Av area in OP, and at the Library on Plainfield, there has been young lady there for the few months, who appears to be homeless. She is nicely dressed, and my sister spoke to her a few months ago, and didn't get much of a response from her, and I am wondering if someone from your place or maybe someone you know might check on her. It is sad to see someone sit there day after day, and she isn't bothering me, or anyone else, but I feel the town of Orange Park should help her, of give her some suggestions. I don't mind what she is doing, but it does concern me as to if she needs help or not..
Hopefully you can give suggestions or let me know who to speak with. TOwn of OP,,got negative comment when I asked about her several months ago.
Quigley House provides a great service to the community and surrounding areas. They provide awareness and support to those in need and help to give others a second start in life. It is such a great place to volunteers and know that you are able to help and make a difference.
I am honored to be a Board of Director for Quigley House. The staff is unmatchable and the services and comfort they provide our clients is second to none; they are a beacon of light in a very dark world and knowing what they do and the professional manner in which it is done, warrants a celebratory THANK YOU!!
Quigley Bouse has become an overwhelming force for good in Clay County because of the high standard of excellence II has shown consistently through its services to people in crisis.
So grateful to have the Quigley House in our community to help victims of domestic violence. Can't even fathom what would happen if they didn't have a safe, secure place to go to like the Quigley House. Thank you to all of the workers, volunteers and public donations for making it possible!
The Quigley House has a great thrift store on Blanding Blvd. Has anyone ever donated to them? I've donated furniture, beds, a refrigerator and lots of misc household items. They come pick it up and give you a donation letter to use as a write off for your taxes. Doesn't get any easier than that!!
I feel blessed to be able to help, in some small way, Quigley House to continue their mission of service to the women of our community. I have never met a more dedicated group of people as the board members and other volunteers of Quigley. Each person that I have come into contact with gives 110% of their time and resources.
Clay County is lucky to have the Quigley House in its community. They not only help victims of domestic violence during the worst time of their lives, they also educate the community on the signs of domestic violence. I have a child at Fleming Island High School who came home last week to tell me about domestic violence awareness activities at her school, and the Quigley presence. The Quigley House not only help the victims, but they are educating our youth so they never have to become victims themselves. Grateful for this organization!
Quigley House is the last resort for desperate woman and children here in Clay County. I have consistently donated to this group. They are a safe haven in our community. I feel especially moved to help them because they are the only shelter provider for woman and children fleeing domestic violence here in Clay County. They are there whenever they are needed.
I am grateful for such a compassionate organization that helps many women in desperate situations !

Ive been helping out the Quigley house whenever i get a chance to. I love what they do for other people. Please keep up the great work
Quigley house has made such an impact in this community, not only by helping the women and children who need their services but also by uniting the community by vollenteering. It has been amazing to watch this organization grow.
It's been my great honor to help in my small way to raise awareness and fund raise for Quigley House of Clay County. They serve such a need and we are so proud of the work they do.
With profound impact in the Clay County community, Quigley House works to chip away at the causes of domestic violence by offering prevention programs and public awareness initiatives. Before attending one of the public awareness programs, I had no idea just how many women, men, and children were served by Quigley House. Empowering these individuals strengthens not only their families but our community as a whole.
I am a board member of Quigley House and have been for the past 9 years. The Organization has gone through a number of changes and has made significant progress in staff upgrading and goal attainment. The community has really rallied behind Quigley House and I'm impressed with the branding the CEO and team have accomplished on behalf of their clients!
My role with Quigley House has been in the role of a volunteer helping the Director of Fundraising put on events to help the citizens of Clay County,Florida that are in the need of the services that this organization provides. It is a pleasure to work alongside the staff and other volunteers who are so dedicated to this cause. The best part for me is the chance to continue to educate the community and business leaders about domestic violence and thank them for the support that they give to us for our fundraisers.
Quigley House had a golf tournament last week. It is typically a fun way to raise money and to receive a brief bit of information about domestic violence and Quigley House's staff and volunteer commitment to the people it serves.
There was a last minute golfer that was added as a fill in for another golfer who could not play.
What no one knew was that this golfer had a traumatic event in his life that exposed him to the heart break of domestic violence. This man owns the buffet restaurant where recently a man came in and threw a liquid on a waitress and set her on fire. As this woman was burning, the people who were there watched helplessly as this man's employee was screaming in pain. He was traumatized by What happened and by his helplessness to help his employee.
When he was asked to fill in at the tournament it helped him feel he could do something to help others who are victimized by abuse at the hand of an intimate partner. He also received information about domestic violence that he had never heard before. This man left the tournament with a commitment to help and with some healing from his own secondary victimization.
This is an example of why I am proud to be a volunteer board member of Quigley House. Quigley House has an active part in our community. We serve victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. At the same time Quigley House staff and volunteers are in this community telling citizens about our services and giving good information about domestic violence and rape.
I have been a volunteer at the Quigley House for over four years. It has been a truly rewarding experience working on the fundraising events. The leadership is first class and always produces an outstanding gathering. I am proud to be a part of an organization that does so much to help victims in our community.

It is my priveiledge to be a volunteer for the only domestic violence and sexual assault center in Clay County, Florida, Quigley House. They provide an amazing service to those victims in need of assistance whether it be shelter due to eminent danger or outreach services, Quigley House is there to help. They strive to empower victims to reach their goals of beginning a new life for themselves and their children violence free. Providing these services cost and through grants and fundraising can be provided. As a volunteer I work on the volunteer team for the annual golf tournament and the spring fundraiser. I also volunteer assisting in a children's program teaching peaceful living skills to young children in the community. At times I assist as a Volunteer Residenr Advicate in the Shelter. Having the privilege of providing all of these different in- kind volunteer opportunities gives me clear insight of what a phenomenal organization Quigley House is and what phenomenal services they provide to the community through commendable staff and leadership from the board to volunteers.
Thank you for this opportunity to tell you my experience with this amazing five star nonprofit.
