Mission: The Qigong Institute, a 501(c)3 organization, is dedicated to improving health and healing by it programs of research and education. The Institute's website reports the scientific reports published in peer review journals by it members. The Institute supports the following research efforts including: development of the Qigong & Energy Medicine Database, which contains 4000 abstracts in English of scientific studies; cooperation between Chinese and our researchers in clinical studies; providing an opportunity for graduate students to publish their findings in Qigong research; and sponsoring classes and lectures series in Qigong. The educational component of the Qigong Institute is expressed mainly though its website providing: lists of Qigong teachers & practitioners; publishing complete copies of scientific studies by Qigong Institute staff; sells video tapes of lectures given by professionals on various aspects of Qigong; and reports current reports on Qigong published in the press.
Programs: Present income is derived primarily from the sale of the Qigong & Energy Medicine Database, videotapes, membership and donations. We need additional funding to help expand our unique Database, to provide video clips of instructional information on Qigong on our website, sponsor research, and develop information about the health and healing benefits of Qigong for the public, government decision makers, medical doctors, and scientists. Anyone seeking information that can assist with their healthcare can benefit from the information we provide.
