Mission: Putnam Pet Pals is dedicated to promoting adoption of homeless animals and to encourage responsible pet ownership through education, legislation, and sterilization.
Results: Putnam Pet Pals is dedicated to promoting adoption of homeless animals and to encourage responsible pet ownership through education, legislation, and sterilization. We have been a 501 C3 organization since 2007. Since that time, we have fostered and adopted out over 350 dogs, and provided free spay/neuters for hundreds more dogs and cats in our county. Every month we give out over 300 pounds of dog and cat food to families in need in our county.
Target demographics: Reduce the number of unwanted pets in the county through adoption, sterilization, and education.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 400 pets owners/month with food, over 180 free spay/neuters, 7 foster homed dogs and dog adoptions

Programs: TNR-Trap, Neuter/Release program for feral cats in Putnam County Provide free/low cost spay/new programs for pets from financially disadvantaged homes Provide foster homes for dogs awaiting adoption through our rescue Provide free pet food for owners in need through food distribution programs
