Put on the Cape is such a generous foundation. Their efforts and fundraisers provide donations to Child and Family Advocacy Centers to better serve crime victims in their own communities. Stuffed animal and toy donations create smiles all around as children leave hugging their new toy. Monetary donations given to our city's Family Advocacy Center helps reduce the effects of trauma and enhance victims' safety through the provisions of hotel vouchers, pre-paid phones, gas cards, bus tickets, clothing, food, water, necessary supplies for families and children.
I currently work at a Title 1 school and we have a student store where students can buy items based on good behavior points. Put On The Cape purchased our wishlist and helped fill the store with items that my students are actually interested in. This was a major blessing to our school since this store is typically stocked with items that teachers have purchased. Thank you so much for supporting our students and their positive behavior.
My experience with Put on the Cape, helping advocacy centers, has been absolutely amazing. The dedication and compassion they exhibit in supporting abused children by providing essentials and comforting toys are nothing short of fabulous. It's heartwarming to witness the positive impact they make in these children's lives, offering them a glimmer of hope and solace during difficult times.
Generous, giving, compassionate and caring. All the qualities you need in an organization. They have provided over $50K in donations to our center, and we are sincerely grateful to them. Without their hard work, we could not provide the level of services for our victims. They bring hope during some of the most difficult times in our clients' lives.
I have encountered many non profits but none of them true to their name in more than one way. This is the most genuine and transparent non profit I've experienced and had the pleasure to be part of. They do what they say and say what they do! So many advocacy centers have benefited since they have began and changed so many lives!
Put on the Cape is an amazing organization and allows CAC's to focus on delivering the best customer service to victims. Put on the Cape provides items to victims of violent crimes and ensures that they feel empowered through the investigative process.
I have been volunteering for PotC and Sean since May of 2018. He and his team have put incredible amounts of time and effort into serving the community.
I’ve assisted with events involving the Phoenix Suns, Paychex, Target, Walmart, PV Mall, our own annual 5k, and more. Every event is planned well and I am honored to contribute to the cause.
We love everything this organization is doing for the families and children in need. We are doing it all from engaging events to superhero fundraisers while donating every cent to the advocacy centers directly impacting abused children and families. This team and these volunteers are so kind and generous. We absolutely love being a part of something so heroic.
The work that POTC does has brought so many amazing things to the community and the children it serves. I have had the honor of being with POTC for 3 years and counting and I never ever forget the dedicated mission we have all been on as volunteers! Please support Put On The Cape Foundation as every dollar donated goes directly towards the children and advocacy centers.
One of the best charity organizations around! Every member is so welcoming and friendly. They do great at events and just creating magic!
Put on the Cape was formed to bring attention to underfunded Child Advocacy Centers in the Valley. They donate thousands of dollars in cash and in gifts to support the children and their families. Join them.
Put on the Cape members are truly dedicated to the community. They understand the importance of serving our victims by touching them with acts of kindness. We are so grateful to this foundation for helping our community.
Class Act & So Outgoing!
I’ve been helping & volunteering alongside Put On The Cape for over 4 years now and they are an amazing group of individuals doing fantastic things for kids in need. Truly a wonderful group that I’m proud to assist each year at multiple events.
Put on the Cape is a top notch charity organization. From its humble beginnings it has grown and become a premier organization that directly benefits children who are impacted in many ways. The staff and those who run this spectacular organization are dedicated to the cause and ensuring all children are empowered. You could not find a better organization to donate to.
From humble beginnings, Put on the Cape has grown into a wonderful non-profit that benefits abused children, using the powerful mythology of superheroes to help victims reclaim their lives.
I know that my contribution went directly to help children and was not used for “administrative” purposes like many charities do.
Put On The Cape is a much-needed non-profit that does life-changing work.
Put on the Cape is truly a great nonprofit through and through. Sean and his team donated over $6000 worth of items for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual violence, and homicide. Sean understands that these items can make the biggest difference to someone who has had something traumatic happen to them. I cannot thank Sean and his team enough for the event they put on and all the goodies they provided.
Every year, Put on the Cape works with retailers to do shopping sprees for crisis centers in need. Kids often come to shelters with only the clothes on their backs. This group takes donated funds and their own money and goes to local stores to fulfill the centers' wish lists. It's a wonderful partnership for a great cause. Kids in crisis should have clean clothes, a toothbrush, and a toy. Put on the Cape helps make sure they do.
There is so much to be said about this charity and those that are part of It. You never know who is struggling in the world, especially for a topic as sensitive as child abuse. This charity goes above and beyond in every way and is so transparent in all they do. Just wonderful!!! Thank you for taking a stand for children all over the world. They deserve all the happiness and fear free innocence everyday!
Put On The Cape puts on very fun and interactive events that bring together communities! Bringing together superheroes to help bring hope and positivity to abused children and give help to them when they need it most! Such a wonderful cause.
Always a pleasure contributing my free time and effort to this cause. The group is great and its so much fun doing what we do and its for a great benefit/cause so its a WIN WIN WIN.

Where do I start, first I've been involved with Put On The Cape Foundation for a little over a year now. I have been volunteering almost every event we've had since. I believe in the mission and goals of POTC, and I believe in the founder of POTC Sean Reavie. This remarkable group of people have not only become my friends, but they have become family. I can think of no other charity I'd rather be involved with than Put On The Cape.
My family has found a home with this incredible Foundation. After my son was abused, we were lost as a family. This group of superheroes has been the best therapy for all of us. All the volunteer superheroes and the biggest Superhero, Founder Officer Sean have become mentors and best friends not only with our children, but with us also. My children have learned so much about giving to others in need and have so much fun at every event. And what makes it even more amazing is that 100% goes back to the the Advocacy Centers who desperately need these items for families who have been victims of trauma and abuse.
I can’t express how happy I am to be apart of this amazing group of heroes. We help bring joy and hope on the worst of times to children and adults who need it. Being a Superhero to someone who needs to be lifted and empowered is more than just putting on a suit. We make sure centers are filled with what’s needed for those who come in. We help bring light to the darkness they maybe in. This is more than just a charity. This is how we bring love and happiness back to those who need it. In the words of Superman.
“ The ‘Amazing’ can only be created by facing fear, risk and failure during the process”
This group is dedicated to help those that can’t…. The Super Hero’s are amazing and connect to all ages.
It’s important to donate to gelpbthose kids that need a little extra love!
I believe in this organization and have been following them the past 3 years. They do great things for our child advocacy centers and help empower children whom have gone through some unspeakable things. They help them to come out of their shells and believe in themselves again by using superheroes to help them overcome their hardships.
This is one of the best non profit organizations for kids I know of. Not only do they donate toys and such for kids in need they do it all while wearing costumes of the kids favorite superhero! The look on some of these little ones faces…..priceless! Keep it up
Putting On The Cape!
I came across this nonprofit a few years ago because I love doing cosplay and there was an event at a Child Advocacy Center. I met one of the people running the organization and after hearing about their mission and what they do and where their hearts are, I couldn't help but volunteer with them more. Since that time, this organization has increased its scope and its reach to hundreds of children multiple, multiple child advocacy centers around the Arizona area, and even to other states. Their mission.... Help children. It's that simple and that profound.
When your whole world is chaos, the strength of a superhero (or other favorite character) can get you through it. These kids need all the heroes!
Put on the Cape Foundation is an absolute amazing foundation that inspires and empowers children by using superheroes at all of our charity events. They are the main reason I began doing cosplay and continue to do my part to spread the word about this unique foundation. They help several advocacy centers across AZ and MI and are continually growing. They are a one of a kind organization that my family and I are truly blessed to be a part of.
Witnessing the Superheroes from Put On The Cape interact with the public in fundraising and charitable activities is awesome and is a blessing. They are positive, generous, energetic, and enthusiastic as they provide a message of hope for clients of the valley's Advocacy Centers. They are a blessing to the community.
An amazing way to not only inspire and empower children, but to bring the spark of childhood to adults. Their heroes are movie quality and the events touch the entire community. When people see their team, they are drawn to their superheroes but when they understand what they are doing, they immediately want to help. They post videos on social media of them giving thousands of dollars away. Fantastic group that helps those poor children recover.
Put on the Cape is the reason I am involved on cosplay charity work. POTC helps the most vulnerable at the worst time in their life. We gather much-needed supplies such as clothing,, diapers, and formula for child advocacy centerswherever we can. We also provide them with toys for the children as a small way to distract them from the horrible thing that has happened to them, and to help them cope with their traumatic experience. There is no other group like Put on the Cape, and I am proud to be a part of their mission.
