Programs: Equitable development, community benefits, and leadership development -successfully embedded equitable development provisions in the sound transit 3 initiative approved by the voters. Through south core, sage activated 19 community organizations in effective civic engagement, and led a people's workshop with 50 participants. -graduated the first cohort of 20 leaders of color from the community leadership institute, and placed 50% in strategic boards and commissions. -improved transparency of the city's board and commission's placement process by conducting an analysis of current city practices and working with city staff and electeds. -improved community engagement in the city's housing affordability & livability agenda focus groups by securing participant stipends and providing technical assistance. -produced 30 page brief of original research and analysis about the impact of airbnb in seattle housing that informed city council members decisions around policy interventions.

quality jobs -sage hosted a community town hall with local worker associations and interfaith leaders of the interfaith economic justice coalition in seatac resulting in improved local government engagement with immigrant and muslim community residents. -provided communications, policy expertise, and a survey analysis report resulting in voter approved initiative that improves health and safety for employees in the hotel industry. -partnered with university of washington school of health to deve

clean and healthy environment & general program -sage & got green co-published report "our people, our planet, our power," and developed accompanying education curriculum. -served on the leadership of the alliance for jobs & clean energy and contributed to the release of the equitable carbon pricing policy framework. -provided leadership, research, and analysis for the city of seattle's equity & environment initiative, which resulted in mayor's support of the equity & environment agenda report.
