Tucson was rescued on August 7 2016.
After more than one year of hard work, love and tons of donations (due to his severe medical issues) of people who believe in me and my work, Tucson was able to walk, run and jump again.
After hurricane Maria landfalls in Puerto Rico I asked a trust-worthy friend (Nicole DiPaolo, Paws4Survival), in the rescue world to help me find a forever home. We agreed on trying for 3 months to find him an eligible adopter and home, if he didn't get adopted by then, the promise was that she would send him back to Puerto Rico and I would then keep up with his needs and care. That was 5 months ago.
I've been trying to get him back privately since December 29 when she communicated that she was stressed out by his condition of defecating/urinating on himself.
Now 6 months later, they are telling me they are not sending him back because I'm not capable of take care of him or provide for his medical needs.
Please share this to spread the truth so people can see that we are capable of giving him the best care and support he needs

If you have small children don't even bother apply to adopt a pug with this organization. Before we had children we adopted 2 pugs from PRONE without any issues. We are the same people, with the same loving home and yard but because we have 3 kids between the ages of 6-9 they will NOT approve us to adopt a pug. They didn't even check our references - and if they had they would have known that my children are very well behaved and very gentle with animals. I think that this is just pure discrimination against families with small children. Like I said - don't even waste your time with them if you have kids.
