The volunteers and staff at Pueblo Rape Crisis Services offer superior programming, not only to survivors of sexual assault, but to large and small organizations in the area, student groups, and other companies. The more people in society are educated about these topics, the more we can all do to play our part in creating change. I am grateful for PRCS for educating the community, advocating for those who need it, and for never giving up on humanity. The work PRCS does for Southern Colorado makes it a better place to live.

Pueblo Rape Crisis Services is a true gem to the Pueblo community. Not only do they provide 24/7 free of charge services for survivors of sexual violence, but they also provide prevention education. They have thought of everything big and small, including a 'Quick Exit' button on their website. Great idea!

Without this amazing organization Pueblo rape victims would suffer greatly. The services provided are comprehensive and not repeated anywhere in the community. I know several volunteers and they are dedicated to the work and also work long hours in service to rape victims. Our community is blessed.

Pueblo Rape Crisis Services is a well-run, community-based nonprofit that provides such crucial services for Pueblo, CO. The staff and volunteers are professional and passionate about their work, putting their clients first and constantly striving to go above and beyond for those who seek out their services. They will listen, hold space for you, advocate for you, and help connect you to other services as needed.

Part of what allows them to provide such impactful, comprehensive support for those who reach out to them, is also their ability to successfully cultivate partnerships with other service providers across Pueblo. The team at PRCS is a pleasure to work with and I´m so glad that they exist for those who need them. Years ago, in another community, I sought crisis counseling for an assault I survived and I wish I had found the skilled, caring team at PRCS. They would have been a welcome beacon of light in that moment in my life.

PRCS has been in my life for almost 3 years now, and is a wonderful resource for victims of sexual assault and sexual violence. The people there have taught me so much about being a good advocate and serving those in need. They are also super great at emphasizing self care as a mental health service worker. They are the first stepping stones to a long career in mental health and wellness.
