Mission: Mission and Model Mission Public Prep is a nonprofit organization that develops single-sex elementary and middle public schools that pursue excellence through continuous learning and data-driven instruction. Our model is designed to empower each student to build strong character, demonstrate critical thinking, possess a core body of knowledge, and be on a predictive path to earn a postsecondary degree.
Results: Both Girls Prep Lower East Side and Girls Prep Bronx received an A on the 2012-13 New York City Progress Report.
Target demographics: Pre-K, Elementary, and Middle School girls and boys in under-served communities

Geographic areas served: Lower East Side and South Bronx
Programs: A Pre-K-8 vertically aligned, interdisciplinary, knowledge-based curriculum aligned to the Common Core State Standards, arts and fitness classes at all schools, partnerships with various colleges and universities.
