Causes: Education, Parent & Teacher Groups
Mission: The parent teacher student association (ptsa) is a partnership between parents, students and educators who strive to enhance student learning and enrich the lives of the students within the school. It is also a forum for parents to obtain knowledge and voice their opinions about what is happening in their school.
Programs: Teacher appreciation and support - provide support and celebration for the teachers of our school. Accomplishments include meals and programs in support of each teacher as well as materials donated to each teacher for use in the classroom.
student / school support - provide support for the students of henderson middle school through sponsorship of school events, hosting of an honors celebration and funding of field trips. In addition, provided support for school beautification and basic maintenance as needed.
