Causes: Education, Parent & Teacher Groups, Primary & Elementary Schools
Mission: To support and enrich the educational opportunities of the students of Berkeley Arts Magnet Elementary School by means of parent education, programs for students, and support of teachers and administrators.
Programs: 1. Provided funds for educational field trips including bus transportation and funds for various field trip expenses. Number of persons benefited: 17 teachers and their 400 students. 2. Supported the art and music teachers of Berkeley Arts Magnet School by contributing to their salaries (salaries paid by the school district) and providing stipends for classroom supplies and educational materials. Number of persons benefited: Four Arts and Music teachers and their 400 students. 3. Provided funds for teachers' classroom supplies and educational materials. Number of persons benefited: 17 teachers, 3 Resource and Special Education teachers and all 400 students at Berkeley Arts Magnet School.
