I am the Executive Director of Fairborn FISH. Providing for Women provides us with period products for our clients. The income of our clients is 200% below the federal poverty guidelines. Without the support of Providing for Women, our clients, would delay paying an utility bill or have less food to feed their families. Similarly, teenage girls may avoid going to school and feel an increased level of stress. A huge thank you to Providing for Women for addressing this critical issue that our marginalized families face!
I am currently the Volunteer Manager at the WPAFB Airman's Attic. We provide young military enlisted, officers and their families, gently used clothing (baby to adults), uniforms, houseware and kitchenware,
baby/child items and toys free of charge. Providing for Women has given us another resource to assist our young female military to care for themselves. The cost savings has been appreciated and most deserved for these young women staring their military lives and those of the female spouses in supporting. My hat if off to them with many thanks and salutes!!
I have worked with Providing for Women since the beginning. We have never turned down a need even if we were supposedly over stepping on someone else’s territory. We do not want ANYONE to go without hygiene products if we can help. Lisa is a great person to work with. She is full of compassion for anyone in need.
