Providence Facey Medical Foundation

Programs: Direct patient medical care - this includes, but is not limited to, face to face provider appointments, laboratory and x-ray services, physical therapy services, immunizations, provided drugs and medications, procedures in ophthalmology, ob/gyn, and gastroenterology. Revenues also include income from hospital & health plan shared risk, health plan pay for performance, stop loss recoveries, and 3rd party liens, and meaningful use. patient education: 184 health education classes, serving 5,188 patients. Community outreach programs: over 184 classes were offered at many facey locations throughout the year involving over 5,100 attendees. Classes covered numerous topics including blood pressure, cholesterol management, healthy living, memory loss and smoking cessation, to name a few. Additionally, a variety of health fairs and womens' series were held throughout the year.

clinical research: conducted 24 (18 are active) fda-regulated studies (166 patients and 693 study visits) in various disciplines including gastroenterology, endocrinology, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, and pulmonology.

facey supports select 501(c)(3) organizations through contributions to their various programs. In 2016 $5,000 was paid to support the 2016 mathies award for vision and excellence in healthcare leadership.
