Causes: Family Services, Human Services
Mission: Our organization was founded with the intention of uplifting the community through faith-based programming as well as community-centered events. Over the last 5 years, we have focused on youth outreach programs such as after school tutoring, summer feeding, and various other community programmings.
Target demographics: our local community's youth, disabled, unemployed, and elderly.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 102 families with our after-school tutoring program and 112 children during our Summer Feeding Program.
Geographic areas served: Tate County and Panola County of the state of Mississippi
Programs: literacy education programs; summer and weekend school programs in conjunction with recreation agencies; nutrition and health programs; expanded library service hours; technology education programs; senior citizen involvement; parenting skills education, employment counseling, training, and placement, and services for those whom have dropped out of school
