I am a wildlife rehabilitator in Los Angeles, California. Project Wildlife is in San Diego, California. They are a great organization. They also rehab bats with the help of Cindy Myers who is a great bat rehabilitator.

I have volunteered for Project Wildlife since 2006 having served in two capacities, consisting of feeding and administering medication to birds being rehabilitated in our Triage Center in the City of San Diego and having acted as a Wildlife Hotline Operator. In this capacity I have received nearly 3,000 calls during 1000+ hours as an Operator, aiding many species of birds and mammals from all over San Diego County. Our volunteers effect rescues of injured animals and transport them to the Triage Center where they receive medical aid if required and rehabilitation of both injured and abandoned babies. Our volunteers and staff are all extremely dedicated rehabbers who have successfully been able to release tens of thousands of animals of many native species that had had bad luck out in nature. I am very proud to have been a member and volunteer for this organization. I would like to reach out to San Diego County residents to become volunteers, members, and donors to this outstanding nonprofit organization.
