Esta organización es realmente increíble! Ver la cara de alegria y orgullo en cada joven participando en este proyecto es suficiente para darse cuenta que esta cambiando vidas. El arte es una medio importante que ayuda a muchos jóvenes aprender a en trabajar en grupo, colaborando, y escuchando ideas juntos por un objetivo. Estos jóvenes no solamente se están divirtiendo creando musica pero tambien estan adquiriendo valores importantes que les ayudara a ser mejores ciudadanos, aportando y viviendo mejor en comunidad. Definitivamente Project Rhythm esta transformando vidas de muchos jovenes! Gracias por existir y sigan adelante!
I've been involved with several PR workshops in various locales, from Brooklyn housing projects to Staten Island post-Sandy to South Central L.A.. I've witnessed first-hand the positive impact these programs have on participants, which should come as no surprise: self-expression and collaborative creation are highly healthy activities to engage in, and people living in stressed and neglected corners or our society both have that much more to express and that much less opportunity in the ordinary course of things to express it. So what tends to happen very quickly is magical. Providing students with cutting-edge technology and teaching them to use it adds an additional component of building skills that could prove highly useful in the music and/or tech industries.
Attending a performance at Horizon Juvenile Center in the Bronx made the positive, transformative impact of Project Rhythm tangible to me. The kids had worked so hard on producing their songs and it took such guts for them to showcase their work in front of their families and peers. They did a great job and were justifiably proud of the results. Their enthusiasm was contagious!
Project Rhythm are a professional outfit with an amazing heart to help young people develop, empower and express themselves through music. A very talented crew who have extensive knowledge and experience that can only help to benefit and bring value to the lives of young people wanting to learn more through this platform. Highly recommend this program and the staff, as I have seen first hand the ripple effects this program has had from the participants and into the audiences which continue well after the sessions they partake in and the initial work they create.
Project Rhythm effectively harnesses the power of music to positively impact young individuals. Youths are increasingly not presented opportunities to explore any aspects of the broad world of music, but fortunately Project Rhythm works to counteract that trend by offering a slew of music-based programs to at-risk youths. The programs empowers young individuals and helps prepare them for successful professional careers in or outside of the music industry. All in all, Project Rhythm has the people, know-how, and drive to a effect a significant positive change in the lives of countless young people.
Project Rhythm has been a great asset to have available to the youth at our center. They offer the youth involved an opportunity to learn things that they may not have access to outside of this program. The staff is always motivating them to push themselves and learn more. All in all they are great!!
Project Rhythm is an amazing program that offers young people the opportunity to learn how to positively express themselves through music. Our young people have benefited greatly from participating in the program. The teaching artist worked well with them and was able to relate them as well. Project Rhythm is a lean and mean organization that helps kids find and hone their voice. It delivers personalized programs to suit the needs of the school or audience and lets participants feel a sense of ownership of the full creative process. With so many arts programs falling by the wayside in our public schools, Project Rhythm fills a critical gap.
Project Rhythm uses innovative strategies to engage kids in ways that aren't usually offered but are sorely needed to foster creativity, leadership, collaboration, and technology skills. They do this with a positive energy infused throughout their programs.

Project Rhythm does an incredible job of providing youth the access, knowledge and tools to find, shape and express their unique creativity through music. Youth who have the opportunity to participate in PR take with them not only tangible proof of their creativity in the form a professional-quality recordeding, they also take away the far more invaluable experiences of working as part of a team, listening and expressing ideas, learning and mastering new skills, building confidence, and having their unique contributions valued - experiences that have the power to change their lives and the contribution they make to the world.
PR is using music -- and the art of mixing music to create new songs and sounds -- to help kids that would never have the opportunity otherwise. Hopefully we all remember the confidence and fun that comes from learning a new skill as a kid. It opens minds to bigger possibilities. PR helps make that happen. It's a startup pouring its energy, time and money into delivering program and helping kids.
