I have been a volunteer for Project Rainbow since Day 1. Money from the flag campaign has gone directly to many organizations such as the Utah Pride Center, Genderbands, Logan Pride, Ogden pride, St George Pride as well as to fund events that promote LGBTQ visibility. Project Rainbow also builds a memorial downtown every November in honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance, (TDOR), with the help of volunteers. They also stake transgender flags around Utah to promote visibility for Transgender Day of Visibility as well as for TDOR and for Trans Pride. In addition, they have a Fashion Fluid boutique at the Gateway mall on chosen dates to allow LGBTQ youth to come get outfits including jewelry, shoes, new underwear and underclothes, watches, purses for interviews, try them on, get fashion tips...etc. They take as much as they want for FREE. I have never seen an organization give so much. Such a fun organization that people reach out to volunteer even before they post for need.
