Project Precious is a wonderful organization that puts a great deal of effort and care into rescuing animals from all walks of life. I worked with PPR to adopt my dog, and I found the process to be professional and thorough. Their staff was quick to respond to all of my questions and I was provided with detailed and honest information about my dog’s healthcare needs and personality. PPR has helped so many animals in need, including my dog, find a loving forever home. My life is better because of PPR and their dedication to animals!

PPR saved our sweet senior lady from a certain death. No exaggeration here! Our girl was found chain to a table in an abandoned house and PPR stepped in without any hesitation! They supported us during fostering and stayed in touch and frequently check on her. We support and highly recommend PPR!

I have been fostering for PPR for almost 13 years. Countless bottle kittens have come and gone and many have stayed as foster fails. About 6 years ago I adopted Sadie a pitbull. Had it not been for Kristy and PPR Sadie would have been euthanized for no fault of her own. Sadie was the most amazing dog, perfect with my cats, nephews and family. She passed away about a year ago due to cancer. We are very grateful for PPR and would highly recommend them. PPR goes above and beyond for their animals and always treats them like family and provides excellent medical care through multiple Veterinary partners.
Desperate to find placement for a starved pit mix stray, PPR stepped up, yet again for this boy and got him the medical, the foster and the permanent home he so deserved. Wonderful rescue group that has done so much for our community. Highly recommend!

Adopted my dog from this rescue… they were great! Foster mom brought over my dog to meet him and gave me food and a crate to get started. They were helpful and gave me all my pup’s paperwork and followed up to see how he was doing. They are truly in it for the well-being of animals!
Project Precious Rescue is a wonderful organization! We have 2 dogs from them that we have had for 12 years and are currently fostering a puppy for them. They truly stand behind their dogs! Our second dog was originally adopted by another family but when they could no longer keep him, PPR took him back immediately and we adopted him since he was a litter mate of our dog. Our foster was pulled from the shelter by them when AC called them and said they had a baby that was found abandoned in the street with severe medical issues. Despite already having other dogs requiring medical care, they jumped right in to make sure this baby got the care he needed!! They always go the extra step for these animals and always take on the cases other rescues shy away from!
My husband and I adopted our dog Willy from project precious rescue back in 2018. We had just gotten married 2 weeks prior so it was a busy time for us but I saw Willy’s picture posted on my friend Stacey’s Facebook I fell in love at first sight. We worked with PPR to initially “foster” and as most great love stories go… the rest was history. Willy instantly became part of our family, winning over the hearts of even those family members who are self admittedly not dog people. The process of adoption was so smooth but thorough. I appreciated the care they took to ensure not only that we were a right fit for Willy but that he would be for us too. He was a pup at the time and within a year of adopting him, he became a big brother to our first human child.. then again to our second 2 years later. He is the most gentle and loving dog, we could not be happier with PPR! They do so much for their animals, I couldn’t possibly speak more highly about their love and compassion. They do so much work and solely on a volunteer basis, they truly started our “family” and I’m so thankful.
I rescued a bully breed puppy as well as my kitten from this rescue. They always go above and beyond to make sure the animals are healthy prior to adoption and all paperwork is up to date. They even make sure everyone is microchipped. I had a great experience adopting not once, but twice from this great organization!

Miss Tessie came into the world this past February by emergency c section when her mama’s owners couldn’t afford to help her. She went to an amazing foster home with her mom and siblings where she was raised and socialized so wonderfully. She has been an amazing addition to our family and we can’t thank PPR enough for saving this girl, along with her siblings and mama and helping to make her the perfect family lady we needed!!
PPR is easily one of the best rescue groups around. They go out of their way to provide the best care for animals and take in animals that need saving. My fiancé and I got our cat Callie through PPR and we are so thankful for our amazing experience. We would not have our beloved fur-baby without this incredible rescue! We continue to support them through the numerous fundraisers they hold in order to keep saving animals!
Zeus came to us right before Covid shut everything down. He was a great companion to have threw it all. Fast forward he is the star of our family and now has two siblings who adore him we couldn’t imagine our family with out him. Not only did we gain our Zeus but we are now a part of the awesome PPR community where we can fawn over our Zeus and other ppr babies a community of support animal lovers and lots of laughs along the way.

There are few rescues who are through and through "in it for the animals". Tireless work, huge hearts (that are often broken) no drama, just in it for the dogs. I cannot speak highly enough of what they do in the devestating uphill battle that is rescue.
PPR is an amazing rescue! Not only do they go above and beyond for every single pet, but they will always help you with any issue that may arise. They don't just place a dog and forget them, they become part of their family. You will never come across a more caring or honest rescue.
Project Precious Rescue has been truly amazing to work with. We lost our dog Nike in January and thought that fostering would be a good way to help other dogs have a safe and loving home like Nike did. This rescue organization does outstanding work for homeless, injured, and unwanted animals. I have fostered for them for about two years and they always put the welfare and best interests of the animals first. One of the things I love about them is the creative ways the do fundraising, like tattoos and virtual bingo.
My family and I got our third dog through PPR in 2018. Their application/selection process was streamlined yet thorough. There was not a doubt in our mind that the group as a whole but, particularly our dog's foster mom went above and beyond to ensure our pup was given so much care, love and attention while with her.

We rescued our beautiful girl Reina Clover (formerly known as Biscuit) from PPR in February 2020 right before the pandemic hit and she has been such a joy and positive light during this stressful time we are all experiencing. She also came into our lives at exactly the right time. We lost our two senior pitbulls the year before (only 3 weeks apart from each other) and were understandably so broken-hearted and devastated. Reina is so easy to love and fit right into our family as if she’s always been a special part of it! She has made the loss of our other fur babies so much easier to bear.

Rachel was professional, informative, and sweet and helped us through the process every step of the way! Hello. I had been looking to rescue/adopt a pit bull or pit mix for about 2 years. I wanted to be an advocate for the breed, and show the world that pit bulls are amazing, loving, happy dogs. I discovered PPR on facebook, and felt a connection to their cause. I watched for a post that would show a puppy/dog that spoke to my heart. The post about a set of puppies being brought up from TX to CT caught my eye. I commented on the post & Rachel, a founding member, sent me the application link. I filled it out immediately. Rachel responded within a few hours. We spoke a few times & I was approved. A few weeks later, once Muffin was old enough, and had recovered from her spay, Rachel visited my home to do a home check 2/14/20 with the puppy. Everything went flawlessly & I adopted Muffin, now named Daisy, the best Valentine's gift ever. I've stayed in touch with Rachel & 2 of the families who ended up adopting 2 of Daisy's siblings. Daisy is the best dog I have ever had & has truly peoven to be a beautiful advocate for the bully breed. Who rescued who?

After a year of searching for the perfect pup PPR stepped in with the cutest batch of valentines puppies and we had 1 steal our hearts. We were able to adopt in the coming months and our growing family was complete. We love PPR!
I worked with Project Precious Rescue while looking for an adoptable dog to fit with my family and lifestyle. I feel blessed to have found my puppy Misha (PKA Mango). You can tell that they care deeply about what they do. They go above and beyond in their service and support of these animals who come into their charge. They offer their support and attention well after the adoption process has been completed. I will, and have recommended them to family, friends and anyone serious about adopting a family pet.
I adopted my sweet girl Stella (aka Star) from Project Precious Rescue three years ago and we cannot be happier. They stepped in to rescue her from a backyard breeder along with her two puppies who ultimately did not survive and turned her life around. I continue to follow them and donate when I can and they never stop trying to help even in the most severest cases regardless of how much time, effort and tears it takes. They also know when it’s time to do the right thing if it becomes apparent that it’s in the best interest of a dog to let them go. I could go on and on…they are fantastic!

We started our search for a puppy a couple months after our beloved dog had passed away. After a couple weeks of looking, we came across PPR. After filling out an application, we met Rachel who was fostering a litter of 5 puppies. She is a master puppy wrangler, and the best foster mom to all the animals that are lucky enough to cross her doorstep. We ended up adopting two puppies that day, and couldn’t be happier.
Project Precious is nothing short of AMAZING! I have great admiration for everyone associated with this rescue. Having dealt directly with Kristy and Rachel, I cannot say enough great things! We recently lost our 2 dogs and our family was heart broken. We adopted Daisy in June and she has brought us such joy and happiness...she completes our family (and might even need a sister or brother :) This rescue goes so far above and beyond....I honestly don't know how they do it, but all I can say is THANK YOU!!!! Nine years ago, I worked with this rescue and added a beautiful canine member to my family. They have always been caring and careful - the way you hope a rescue would be with animals that are coming from a less than ideal situation. Since then, I have watched and financially supported their work. They never cease to amaze me with the level of care they put forth, especially in light of some of the terrible situations they dive into. To them, the animals always come first. They are definitely doing everything right and they are super humans! ❤️
PPR is the best! They helped get multiple pets for me, my family and many friends throughout the years! The last pet we got from them was our current dog cooper. We had lost our previous dog suddenly due to cancer and we were so upset. Kristy came through finding the PERFECT dog for our family to mend our broken hearts. My mother has two other pets from them also! I recommend them to ANYONE wanting a pet!

We starting working with the incredible team of volunteers from Project Precious Rescue in 2015. To say they have changed our lives because of the length Kristy and her team go to to ensure each animal in their care is given the appropriate medical care, the structure and love they need and placement into just the right home, would be an understatement.
We adopted a dog back then, and subsequently decided to get more involved and foster other dogs in need. It is has been one of the best experiences of my life.

Many rescue organizations do great work saving animals from cruelty, abandonment and euthanization. Project precious goes a step beyond by saving the "unadoptables" that few other rescues will take. Those with serious health issues, untreated injuries, and seniors abandoned by their owners. Many rescues will step away from the expense of surgeries and treatments for these dogs and cats that is necessary to be able to place them in good homes. Not the volunteers for Project Precious. Many rescues support our animal friends but Project Precious supports animals in extreme need and those who many others would pass by. Some of these are the most difficult of medical cases or the elderly. Not only do they take on these heartbreaking cases but they are able to help get them treated and adopt them out to welcoming families. This is what rescue is all about!
I don’t have enough great things to say about Project Precious Rescue. I was never a big animal person growing up but my husband always wanted a dog. We reached out to Kristy who patiently took her time to find us just the right pup! Within minutes of Max coming into our house it was obvious he was ours forever! 4 years later my four year old daughter makes sure everyone knows she has a brother named Max and he’s her favorite! They are an absolute amazing nonprofit! No doubt when we are ready to expand our happy to another four legged pet, we will definitely be contacting Kristy and the organization!
I fostered cats and kittens for PPR over the course of their first few years. They have always been responsive and helpful to their fosters and provide all necessary supplies. When PPR pulled a four month old kitten with a broken rear leg and pelvis, who was likely going to need amputation and low-activity recovery, I didn’t hesitate to foster him. (It was no secret he was going to be a foster failure from the beginning!) And I’m so grateful to PPR for rescuing him. They never shy away from the difficult cases. Every animal that comes into their organization receives the very best in every facet of their care— from initial intake and assessment to selection of their forever home. Simply put PPR is a superbly run organization.

I am so impressed with this rescue organization. They have a phenomenal leader, wonderful fosters, and associated medical institutions that are top-of-the-line. They do everything possible to give every rescue the medical attention they need and to care for them until a proper forever home is found. I have never seen such a dedicated group, and I've seen a lot of rescue non-profits.
My dog was in the hospital for 7 days after getting hit by a car. This is when I first came across Project Precious Rescue when they had just taken on Jack's heart-breaking case and had him in the same hospital. Every night after work my fiance and I would spend time at the hospital visiting our dog and there were always people from Project Precious visiting Jack. I thought it was amazing that people from Project Precious Rescue took the time at the end of the day to make sure Jack had the opportunity to experience love and comfort that he deserved. I started following Project Precious on social media and came to realize this rescue has really taken on some horrible cases without hesitation and truly made an amazing impact on every dog's life that they've helped.
I just adopted Beanz a few weeks ago through Project Precious. After my experience with fostering him and going through the adoption process, you can tell how much they care about these dogs that they take in. Project Precious truly deserves all the support the community can give them.
This is one of the few rescue organizations that seek out the un-adoptable, rehabilitate them and find them forever homes.
I recently adopted V, a shepherd mix, that was in very rough shape before Project Precious Rescue was asked to take over his care. They provided V with the absolute best medical attention and an excellent foster home. He was with them for almost 5 years, and in that time they worked with multiple veterinary teams to manage his conditions so that he would one day be able to have a fulfilling life with a family of his own. Most rescues would not have invested the amount of money and time into saving this dog.
I will be forever grateful to Project Precious Rescue, they gave my dog the best care until he and I could find each other!

My husband and I adopted Willy just about a year ago. The process could not have went any smoother. Working with kristy and Stacey was like working with a friend. They made sure our pup was a good fit for our home and we couldn’t possibly love him any more. It’s been the best year since we brought Willy into our home! He was fostered before we adopted him and at 14 weeks was pretty much potty trained, great with people,kids and knew so many training commands. We can’t wait for him to be a big brother to our first baby come Christmas. I would recommend ppr 110%!!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with PPR Inc! I am so grateful to them for bringing Stella (formerly Star) into our lives. I am sure that she would not even be alive if it were not for the quick action on their part to take her when her owner gave her up in the middle of a delivery of four puppies that went bad...and to get her immediate medical attention. Rachel, her foster Mom, is fabulous, and I am sure it's because of her that Stella immediately acclimated to our home and our other two dogs. I will be forever indebted to them all! I have fostered two puppies for this nonprofit and what a joy the journey has been. Kristy handles each case with love and adoration for each of her “babies” like she personally is responsible for the rest of their lives. It has been a pleasure to be part of this foundation.
We wanted to adopt a dog and had been looking at several animal adoption websites when a friend told us about her experiences (two adoptions) with Project Precious Rescue. On their PPR website, we immediately saw adorable pictures and videos of happy, active dogs/cats enjoying life in wonderful foster homes. There were several dogs that caught our attention, and we thought we’d narrowed it down to a little black puppy from a litter of five. But his brindle colored brother was cute too! Their fabulous foster mother, Rachel, brought both dogs to our house, with food, toys, etc. for a week trial—that was four months ago! We couldn’t imagine our lives without them. PPR makes sure all of their animals are healthy, neutered, micro chipped, up to date on immunizations and socialized; all on a shoestring budget. I continue to look at their Facebook postings and badger my husband about, ‘how many dogs would be too many?!’
We were looking for a companion dog for my son with anxiety. We felt strongly about adopting as opposed to buying a puppy. I figured it would be a simple task to find what we were looking for. Months later and after many, many disappointments a friend tagged me in a Project Precious Facebook post with three puppies they had available. One of the puppies was exactly what we were looking for. I immediately applied for him but didn’t get my hopes up as I had applied for about 30 dogs to no avail. 2 days later my application was approved and I was contacted to arrange a visit. As soon as Rachel brought him to us, we all knew it was meant to be. Fang has been with us for 7 months now and he’s a perfect fit.
I can’t say enough about Project Precious. I’ve worked with a lot of rescues and they were the class of the field. The care they provide these animals with their foster families is bar none. They truly know the personalities of their animals and what types of situations would be a good fit.

Thanks to Project Precious Rescue our sweet girl Roxie found us and the rest is happy history. She was adopted in the Dominican Republic, brought to the USA, became sick and was basically abandoned at a local veterinary practice. Thanks to PPR, she was rescued, fostered, cared for and nursed back to health by the most loving angels here on earth. That's PPR in a nutshell: real angels here on earth to all the animals they save and the humans lucky enough to love them.
I started getting involved with Project Precious Rescue by being a foster for them. That didn’t work out to well, as the first kitten and the first dog I ever fostered ended up never leaving! Haha. But they were such an amazing organization to work with. They’re down to earth, knowledgeable, friendly, golden hearted warriors who I was lucky enough to get involved with. After my first two foster failures, I fostered another 6 cats and 3 dogs for them- all of whom found amazing homes thanks to Project Precious’s thorough and in-depth application process. They make sure these animals are ending up in the most amazing of homes! The best part about this group is the animals that they save. The pick the ones who most often get skipped over- medical problems, elderly, etc. They give the underdogs- no pun intended- a fighting chance at a happy and healthy remainder of their life. The people at Project Precious Rescue are truly the most amazing, selfless, and one of a kind people who’s hearts are in it for all the right reasons! I couldn’t have picked a better organization to get involved with.

Project Precious Rescue is an excellent organization! This incredible, caring & selfless staff lovingly saves, rehabilitates and finds homes for so many animals! I am blessed by the addition of Herbie “the Love Bug,” my chihuahua, whom I fostered & then adopted from Project Precious a year ago. They are the best!!
