Causes: Public & Societal Benefit
Mission: Project Opportunity is committed to providing charitable assistance to the disadvantaged minority youth in the city of Hawthorne, California. The assistance we provide is tailor-made for our city’s youth. We strive to provide non-traditional financial assistance and unique, diverse opportunities for learning, from both a personal, educational, career, and community perspective where none previously existed.
Results: Over the past 7 years, our hockey program has successfully helped make positive impacts on lives of over 1000 young boys and girls. We have assisted these children with developing social skills, showed them the benefits of pursuing lifelong education, and created opportunities to take part in internships and gainful employment.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 100 kids directly helped.
