Mission: To support the preservation, exhibit, all forms of judaica, from beginning to end of the process as in the long history of such activities have done for the past 28 years in a world class fashion through traveling exhibitions; for the past 15 years to assist in the alleviation of the pain and suffering of thousands of survivors of the holocaust who are living in or at the level of poverty in the united states, which has been a focus intensely.
Programs: This has been a very challenging year in that both program foci were very active with encouragement of judaic cultural activities very encouraging and dynamic in need of tending directly by mr. Talisman from exhibition explorations around the world. At the same time there were a great many needs to assist in regarding assistance to holocaust survivors living in poverty in need of help directly and indirectly in conjunction with the holocaust survivors foundation and its board members requiring mr. Talisman's direct participation and assistance from public information, speaking engagements, attention from public bodies in need for specific responses to inquiries from legislative bodies at all levels and many public groups want to help. At the same time mr. Talisman suffered a number of very serious health challenges including serious medical attention and treatment which made it difficult yet needing attention without fail. Many, many wonderful volunteers and contributors participated in helping directly and indirectly trying to find solutions for the intractable tragedy of holocaust survivors having to live in horrible conditions without appropriate or no medical and mental health care after all these survivors have undergone in their experiences during the holocaust itself. Very important testimony was invited from a number of survivors who themselves were not subject to these terrible conditions but responded willingly to testify to describe this situation for tens of thousands of their brothers and sister survivors who could not speak for themselves i was privileged to assist these survivors at their request many times again this year along with a difficult speaking and education schedule all year long while trying to navigate illnesses and the need for treatment thought this year. .
