Mission: Invest develops a diverse pool of insurance professionals and informed consumers by educating high school and college students on careers in insurance, financial services and risk management and encourages them to pursue careers in the industry.
Programs: Invest is a grassroots program that teams high school and college educators with representatives from the insurance industry to provide insurance instruction and career opportunities to students. Invest continues to see great interest in the program and expanding interest from community colleges, with 28% of the schools offering the invest program to diverse or minority-based school populations. Invest is now working with 886 educators and is active in 44 states with over 31,000 students learning about insurance and career opportunities this school year. Invest provides an insurance education and career pathway for students including jog shadowing, scholarships, career coaching and internships.
