Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Adult Education, Education, Environment, Food, Food, Agriculture & Nutrition, Garden Clubs

Mission: Project Grow got its start in the early 1970s. We rent out approximately 250 garden plots in seven different locations around the Ann Arbor area. We also provide information on composting, organic gardening, pests, diseases, and other garden-related topics, all of which we are happy to provide at no cost. Project Grow also runs a Childrens Garden, which consists of 21 organic theme gardens. Every year, we offer different programs at the Childrens Garden for area children and their family. Last year, for instance, we had a Tea Party, with homemade cookies and tea made from our own plants.
