Mission: Project Equus, founded in 1996, grew out of the need to investigate and help prosecute abusive horse trainers, and provide professional advice on humane and inhumane horse training methods to state veterinarians, district attorneys and humane societies. P.E. has three court-certified expert witnesses on horse training. P.E. is working to eliminate the commercial use of equines in commerce, science, sports and entertainment.
