Mission: To provide educational and therapeutic services, at a professional level, for infants, toddlers and preschool children and their families through supporting the family unit and working with each child to develop his or her full potential.
Programs: Developmental day school - is center-based and serves children having special educational needs due to physical intellectual or emotional handicaps. The program serves children ranging in ages from 3-10 years of age.
early intervention program (ei) - a home-based program that serves children from birth to age 3 whose physical, emotional, or intellectual development is delayed, or at risk for subsequent developmental issues. The program provides evaluations, home visits, groups, support, and transition services to eligible families. The ei program also provides an inclusive toddler playgroup opportunity for children ages 2 & 3 years with groups that are integrated with children from the community, the ei program and the developmental day school.
regional consulting program - provides consultation services on multiple special health care issues to families with children ages birth to 8 years. Teams of trained staff members provide evaluations in the areas of nutrition, feeding and assistive technology to people meeting the needs of children with multiple disabilities and/or complex health care requirements in home and community settings.
pediatric therapy - provides services to children ages 3-10 years that include: speach/language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, assesment/consultation in an individual discipline and multidisciplinary team development assessment. The pediatric therapy program also provides families with referal services. In addition, a fully licensed preschool is offered to children ages 3 - 5.
