Programs: Pro musica colorado is a professional chamber orchestra based in boulder county, colorado and performing regularly in boulder and denver. The musicians are well known to colorado audiences, performing with major colorado organizations such as the colorado symphony, the central city opera orchestra, and the colorado ballet, as well as being principal players in the regional orchestras. The orchestra and conductor are full time professional musicians with major conservatory training, significant experience as chamber musicians and as leaders in professional orchestras. Pmc has an ethic of intellectual rigor, musical integrity, and excellent playing chops. Pmc's high caliber of musicians and staff gives pmc the capacity to produce works of greater complexity and difficulty than most colorado orchestras. This capacity, and high quality, sets pmc apart from the other chamber orchestras in the denver metro/boulder region. Pro musica colorado chamber orchestra has a commitment to a wide range of repertoire, from the classics to cutting edge. Pmc produces six chamber orchestra concerts in denver and boulder and plays chamber music outreach concerts in boulder county.
