Mission: The organization's mission is to ensure the democratic process
Programs: During the 2016 calendar year, priorities usa pursued a mission of ensuring that the democratic process is accessible to every citizen. We pursued this effort by focusing on three main areas we felt were most impactful to this mission. These areas were (1) legislative monitoring to stop repressive voting legislation from becoming law, (2) litigating through our judicial system to overturn these laws once they passed their legislatures and (3) supporting programs that worked to register our citizens to vote.
