Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Children & Youth, Foster Care, International, International Relief

Mission: Prince Ministry in South Africa exists to support The Fold, SA Children's Home which has been registered as a private hostel in South Africa. We currently have 32 children in our care. These are children of various backgrounds, but none of them had any type of a future. They now have love, good nutrition, and a good education to enable them to have a future. We hope they will make a difference in their country. These children are in individual homes with no more than 8 children per home, with a house mother to take care of them.

Results: September 2019 will be our 9th anniversary of our first child to move into the Fold. We now have 4 homes which are full. We also started our own private school in 2016, which has creche up to the ninth grade. We need to raise the funds for our additional teacher in 2019 who covers up to the 9th grade.

Target demographics: children to have a better life, good nutrition and a better education

Geographic areas served: South Africa

Programs: 4 individual homes with 8 children in each home. plus our own school up to ninth grade.

They were called by God to open a home for children in need. There have been many challenges but they have continued to serve their community in South Africa. The kids are more confident and have more opportunities in life thanks to The Fold.

I served in 2009 just as The Fold was putting all in place to serve the children. Since then The Fold has been a shepherd to so many children with love, compassion and unending energy. A wonderful blessing to so many.

Saving Grace Ministries are glad to support Prince Ministry in South Africa. They are doing a great work helping the children in their care. They not only teach them academically, but spiritually as well as loving each one. It moves us to know that they genuinely care for each one in the nonprofit organization. Their work is not only within their establishment but the community as well, teaching the children how to care and help others. I enjoy the monthly news letters to inform of their progress and needs.

The Fold is such a blessing for these children of God. The house mommas love and take such great care of the children. The teachers not only teach, but also give them life lessons to help in the future. Paul and Mickey Prince are doing God's work to help insure The Fold is a safe place and a place where God's word is shared so the children know God love for them. All the staff care not only for the property, but makes certain the children hear God's word.

My family and I visited The Fold when we were in SA on vacation. When we were on site, we were further convicted to serve the under served there in Limpopo. The mission is pure and the men and women that support the children there are truly a blessing to all. I hope to return and provide my hands and time to the ministry.

I have had the opportunity to visit the Fold twice and am humbled by the work being completed there. The volunteers and staff are loving, wise, and competent. They work diligently to meet the needs of children in their region and provide a loving, safe place for them to grow and learn. If you choose to support this organization via prayer, donations, and/or visiting I am sure it will be much appreciated.

I had the opportunity to volunteer at this charity in Spring of 2019 and left overwhelmed by their dedication and love for taking care of some of the regions most vulnerable children. They provide housing, meals, and education for children who wouldn't receive this sort of support otherwise. Prince Ministry is truly a beacon of light and hope where they are.

i had the opportunity of visiting and working at The Fold for about a week and found the Princes' to be dedicated providing the best possible atmosphere for the children in their care. Paul and Mikey always make decisions about The Fold and it's children and what is best for them. Children know that they are loved and cared for beyond anything in their previous experience. This couple is working hard to make sure these children are given the key elements of becoming good citizens of South Africa. There education goes beyond books and learning. These young people are given the opportunity to learn life skills that will make them feel that they are valued and self confident.

The Children at The Fold are blessed beyond measure.

Mickey and Paul have a heart for children...and love for our Lord! They put that together with a lot of tenacity and have created The Fold, where not only children are loved, but educated and taught about Jesus! What a beautiful ministry they share as they take care of so many little ones!

Paul and Micky and their staff at the Fold are doing a azinf work for the children in their community. They caontinue to make great progress year after year teaching and training young people to grow up into strong leaders for the future of South Africa! They provide a home and school for children who would not have an opportunity for either without the Prince’s intervention. Volunteer or give as you can to make a lasting difference!

My husband and I were in South Africa on safari and happened to drive by The Fold on our way into the camp. We wanted to stop and hear about what they were all about and bring donations. Little did I know how much impact the wonderful work Paul and Mickey, along with their amazing staff, would have on me. They are impacting children's lives one heart and mind at a time. For many of these children there was no hope until they stepped into The Fold. Keep up the great work. I pray that God will continue to send his blessings upon The Fold and their mission.

This Christian ministry has been quite instrumental in providing a home for orphans that is based on love, of God first, and of children. They keep supporters well informed and make very good use of the funds directed their way.

The Fold is the best NPO dealing with children. Mickey and Paul Prince are the best in this ministry of the poor and needy. My visit there was a very joyful one as I celebrated my birthday with the kids. They are so wonderful and cheerful thanks to the work done with them. Their lives have been pumped with love and care.
