Mission: Prestonwood Pregnancy Center provides guidance, education and medical services to women and families in unplanned pregnancies in North Central Texas.
Programs: Because 25% of all women in Dallas County are uninsured and 75,000 single mothers are living below the poverty level with their children in Dallas County, Prestonwood Pregnancy Center has collaborated with Lifesavers Foundation to offer free pregnancy tests, sonograms, guidance, and referral services conveniently aboard a RV branded as Community Mobile Sonogram. This is a collaborative and cost-effective effort that started serving clients in February 2009 and has the full support of seven pregnancy centers in the seven areas Community Mobile Sonogram parks on a weekly basis. Any client who seeks this service regardless of age, race, income, religious affiliation, or marital status will be served. All services are confidential and free of charge. Services are offered in Spanish and English.
