I have the privilege and honor of serving as a board member and 2 time podcast episode participant, thus have has first hand knowledge of the impact Press Pause Inc is having in the community through its podcast and it’s support group. Press Pause Inc also provides a wealth of knowledge and resources for the BPD community that is invaluable! Kudos to Press Pause for its immeasurable contribution to the BPD community and those who love them!
In a professional setting, my experience interning with Press Pause has been incredibly rewarding. The team’s dedication to mental health advocacy is inspiring, and I’ve learned so much about podcast production, research, and storytelling. Being part of an organization that prioritizes community impact and provides meaningful content has been fulfilling. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an important cause and grow professionally and personally.”
I love Press Pause. I feel so supported by the people running the organization, the support group, and the community created for people with BPD.
In my professional capacity as a physician, a published author of a book about Borderline Personality Disorder, and as an advocate for Borderline Personality Disorder awareness, I can say with full confidence that Press Pause is already saving lives, and giving people with BPD much needed support and recovery based tools and resources. I am very impressed with the progress I have already seen take place in many people's lives, thanks to Press Pause.
I'm having such a great experience being part of Press Pause. The founder, Nicole Darby is an absolute inspiration and so helpful and committed to her cause. She is so compassionate and Press Pause provides so many really helpful tools and support for people with BPD. It really is a one-stop-shop for people like me.
Just wanted to say I love all Press Pause resources, especially the podcast – I’m catching up on episodes now! It’s honestly been a really valuable resource for me. It’s like group therapy, but I don’t have to share
I listened to this podcast today, Although I don’t typically relate to most podcasts, this one totally resonated with me and I thought Nicole really addressed the “Why?” in an excellent way.
I attempted suicide 3 times and after the third one, I remember telling myself after I woke up in the hospital: I screw everything up! I don’t even know how to kill myself! Now I understand more why my suicide attempts were more in the spur of the moment and not planned. No wonder they were not completed. Thank you Press Pause! Can't wait to check out all of the podcast episodes!
