The PRC South Hills treated me and my husband with the greatest compassion and generosity from the beginning of my pregnancy, to the end, as well as after my son was born. They truly care about the people they help. They not only want the best for your baby, but for you and your family as well. I took birthing classes with Sarah and would recommend her in a heartbeat. She made me less nervous and prepared me for knowing all of my birthing/pain relieve options and stages of labor. She even gave us her cell number in case we wanted to call her when I went into labor for support! We also took parenting classes with Dottie! She has a story and tips for every problem you could ever encounter as a new parent. She is wonderful and full of information from the latest research and personal experiences. She is very caring as well and gave us a very generous donation from their donation collection...a Momaroo! She really wanted to give it to us because we didn't request any material items, which was really sweet of her! My son is almost 10 months old now and both my husband and I still reference Dottie when parenting challenges arise :)

I had the honor of being on the board of the PRC of South Hills for 3 years. They were the most rewards years seeing how they touched the clients that walked through their doors. Carrying for them with love and compassion. They really did more for me than I ever did for them. I would recommend this group for any type of grant, award, etc. what a blessing they are.

Choices Pregnancy Center is an organization whose leaders, staff, volunteers, and speakers add value to others with love, support, education, understanding, and wisdom . The numerous life changing stories have brought many tears to my eyes as well as hope in humanity. Many young men and women who have chosen to choose life for their children have witnessed to others the truly amazing gift that God has given them, the gift of life. These young families have come to understand that they are not being judged, they are being loved and are learning that faith, love, and hope are the building blocks in their lives. God makes no mistakes for these children who were planned will someday be great leaders and the credit goes to the Choices Pregnancy Centers for being so bold and selfless to share how important these children are to all of us. This organization is truly blessed with special people!

At great personal expense, Choices Pregnancy Services serves Allegheny County to save the lives of unborn babies. They also serve the mothers and fathers of those unborn children. The leaders and the volunteers put in countless hours to help those in crisis situations understand that life is a gift from God.

I have attended their meetings and saw the love, knowledge and concern of its staff to save the life of all children and how to raise those babies.

I now live in another state, but keep in touch with the center because I believe in what they are doing.

I would like to offer the GREATEST recommendation of Choices Pregnancy Center as our charity, Save Unborn Life is a referral agency from this organization, they offer HOPE and financial help to women who are thinking about aborting their unborn babies because of financial struggles. They offered a free ultrasound to 2 women who were thinking about aborting their child, and called us to confirm the financial offer of $3000 to help the women reconsider, and choose LIFE for their baby.
Choices also has staff that operates a mobile ultrasound vehicle that goes to abortion clinics, assisting women to see an ultrasound of their child, and offer them hope and financial help to choose life!
Save Unborn Life has worked with Choices and helped save 2 unborn babies, what better use of money could there be than to save a human life, remember Oscar Schindler saved over 1,100 Jews by offering money to the Nazis, Choices has offered hope and financial help to women to choose life for their child.

This non profit exudes professionalism in the caring of women in crises pregnancy, but does it with caring above and beyond what I have ever seen as a Medical Professional. No person is turned away and testing is of the highest quality with kindness and compassion.
Everything they offer is free and each trained participant does it with compassion.
The women who visit are very fortunate. i feel honored to help in any way.

STD testing is also done for men and women at no cost.

I have had the opportunity to organize Christmas giving to bless some of the women that use the pregnancy resource center. The center cares for these women so well. Things are organized and very thorough so that each woman and group of volunteers can visit, enjoy food, and pray if she desires. I have done this for several years and will continue to support this group. Women who find themselves unexpectedly pregnant can be assured that this is a safe and loving place, free from judgment. A place that will listen and support them in a time of need.

This place changes lives. It also saves lives. It gives the opportunity for someone to have a child, or to chamge someone elses life through adoption. It also lets young mothers know they are not alone.

I have witnessed first hand the generosity and support of the Pregnancy Resource Center. I am amazed at the programs offered and the supplies donated by the wonderful people involved with the center. Each volunteer has been a tremendous help to the family that I have seen them get involved with. They are a support for an unexpected time and a strong shoulder when needed. Keep up the good work and may God continue to Bless all that you do.

I have been incredibly blessed by my involvement with the PRC. The staff and volunteers are dedicated to serving and loving all who walk through the doors. They are passionate, caring, and non-judgmental. The PRC is dedicated to following God's leading and continually places the center in His hands.
It is so refreshing to see a ministry that really works - the clients truly are being empowered, educated, and encouraged. They are feeling loved and supported and many are choosing life for their babies as a result. God has great things in store for this center!

Our church has supported the Pregnancy Resource Center monthly for several years, because we believe in their mission and have seen how they care for others. After my husband and I have seen their work and how they walk with women and support them, we also began to support them financially. We stand behind everything they do--not only are they an organization that does great work, but they do it with the utmost integrity. We would encourage everyone to give to the PRC, an organization, that changes and saves lives!

My husband and I were first introduced to the Pregnancy Resource Center through the Adopt-a-Family program. Since then, we have developed a heart for this organization. We absolutely love their mission, and we feel that it is such a privilege to be able to support them. They absolutely pour love into the women who come for help, and they support the women not only during the ultrasound, but throughout their pregnancy, and even post-pregnancy. We hope to continue to support them for years to come!

My experience with the PRC stems back many years. I have been privileged to be a part of their Adopt-a-Family program at Christmastime and have personally seen so many women have their lives touched by the non judgmental love and truth that is poured out there. Now, as a volunteer working to build new programming, I see that the people at the PRC live out their faith in a totally authentic way. The way they make decisions and move in their community is awe inspiring and working there with them has made me want to be authentic in my personal life as well. They never turn anyone away and only bring truth to people, helping and supporting them to move towards healing and restoration wherever they are at the moment. It's a beautiful thing, and a beautiful organization.

I am married, already a mother of 2 but had been planning on not having any more children when I found out I was pregnant. I felt as though I was getting up there in years and this was NOT what we had planned for or wanted. I really just needed confirmation, someone to talk to and it was amazing. I spoke with Tara~ she was so great! She made me feel as though everything really was going to be ok after praying with her and talking to her. I felt as though God brought me to her. It was what I needed at the time just to know that we will be alright :)

Whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, we can probably all agree that women in unplanned pregnancy situations often are in desperate need of support. That is what the PRC does so well. As part of several volunteer opportunities, I have had the privilege of meeting many clients whose lives have been changed by the love they receive from the PRC. They offer a large variety of services to support these women both before and after they give birth, all done by the most dedicated and humble staff on the planet. If I could donate my right arm to this place, I would do it.

The PRCSH helped me when I was 17 and found out I was pregnant. They guided me through the steps in order to be the mommy I am today. My daughter is now 5 and I owe so much to them for helping me. I got parenting classes through them that taught me a lot. I recommend them to anyone I know that was in my aituation so young. I would recommend them to anyone. They are a great nonprofit organization.

When I got pregnant I was very nervous. The Pregnancy Resource Center helped me out a ton by helping me understand all my options and providing great classes. The birth class was so helpful; it helped me to relax and not be nervous about my delivery. Not only did they help me learn a ton but they also provided me with the material things that my baby really needed. They are so helpful and helped me realize that God is in control of my situation. Overall, this was a life-changing experience and they resource center really helped me see that I was not alone in this and I could be a fantastic mother.

When I got pregnant unexpectedly I was very scared and lost, I had NO IDEA what to expect when it came down to having a child especially at the age of 19. I was scared to death and needed support that I wasn't receiving at the time from my family . The Pregnancy Resource Center helped me out in so many ways possible! ....They showed me so much love and support as soon as I walked into the Center. They welcomed me with open arms and shared with me all of the different programs they had to offer. I attended birthing classes and also parenting classes that helped me out extremely! I knew after leaving the center that day, everything was going to be okay. I gave birth to my amazing daughter 4 years ago, and currently, I am still involved with the pregnancy center. Not only did these people help me drastically, but I also got to meet other young moms who were in the same situation as me, we all became a family and a strong support system for each other. The center changed my outlook on life and I thank everyone there for making me as strong as I am today. Currently I am in school for Nursing and hoping one day I can help young girls in need like the Pregnancy Center helped me.

The Pregnancy Resource Center not only serves women facing an unplanned pregnancy, they also provide comfort, support & hope for Mothers who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth, or the loss of an infant. The Mothers of Angels group was founded by women who personally experienced a loss and have made it their desire to help others through the grief and pain of pregnancy and infant loss.

It is a safe haven where Mothers can share their stories and receive emotional and spiritual support. Every loss is different and each journey of grief takes a different path. It is encouraging to see mother-to-mother support by lifting each other up and giving each other hope.

One of the unique parts of being a member of the group is the idea of paying it forward. Despite all the sadness that comes with a loss, it is truly remarkable how us women rise out of the grief to create "Memory Boxes" for donation to Pittsburgh area hospitals. The memory boxes are given to a mother and father in the hospital that contains mementos of their baby.

PRCSH is an absolute life-line to women facing an unplanned pregnancy, young or single parents who want to improve their nurturing skills, teens who want to choose the path to abstinence, and sexually-active individuals who need to understand how to attain good sexual health. PRCSH counselors and staff are knowledgeable, loving, non-judgmental and truly helpful. From parenting classes to STD testing, they offer our community an amazing variety of free, confidential services. When my grand-daughter needed help during and after her pregnancy, they were there for her! She is definitely a better and more confident mom because of them. We are all very grateful for the crib, car seat, diapers, clothes and other "stuff" but also the support, child-birth classes and parenting classes.

The Pregnancy Resource Center does so much for young women to understand the truths of the situation they face in an unplanned pregnancy. They offer counseling to women for so many things, options when pregnant, post abortion counseling, and post sexual assault counseling. They offer pregnancy testing and ultrasounds too! And it's all FREE!

One of my favorite outreaches that they do is Adopt a Family for Christmas, when individuals or a group get to adopt a young mom and her child and bless them. We have done it with a group for two years now, and to see the looks on the young women's faces when they are blessed beyond their wildest dreams, is heartwarming and truly the love of Jesus in action. I love getting to know these women!
