Mission: The Poverello Center, Inc. provides nutritious food, services and basic living essentials with the highest degree of understanding, respect and love for individuals living with critical and chronic illnesses Including HIV, in South Florida.
Results: HIV: Our program participants with HIV have an average viral suppression rate of 86.4%. That means they're unable to transmit the virus or suffer from the worst effects of the virus. Diabetes Prevention: Our CDC certified Diabetes Prevention Program offers participants healthy groceries, weekly meetings and free gym experiences.
Target demographics: those living with chronic/critical illnesses with medically tailored groceries
