Well I'd like to hear more about this organization. I could use some help financially. I am really in a rut. Like really really in a rut. And I'm asking for help. I've gone outside of my "family" which I happened to just realize really isn't family. I had a friend point out to me that I have had about as much help from my family that I could've been raised in foster care that would be the equivalent. I found out some interesting things about my high school education which made me realize I might actually be a little mentally impaired and I didn't know that. A little slow. I also suffer from some ptsd and trauma from some past things I went threw. Me and my boyfriend just moved out of the house we were renting at and we are in a hotel looking to buy a trailer or hopefully get one threw habitat is what I'm hoping it would be an extreme help. Neither of us have cars and I am out of work currently. He has an injury and has been on disability for a few years now and I don't want to have to apply so I thought I would reach out to some non profits. I would be able to give back and do some volunteer work but I'm looking for help with the payments at the hotel for 2 weeks. I think it's 300 something each week?? I will have to check with him and I'm also looking for help paying to get my license back which is almost 200. Once I get that back not only can I get a job I can drive to work when I get a car. This is a wonderful food pantry. This food pantry does so much for the community. They serve 4 to 500 cars a week. And I feel so blessed to be part of this community. To give back. The people that volunteer are wonderful Christian people.

I have never seen a more giving food pantry, in my life. With no questions asked families are driving in and getting big boxes of delicious food. these boxes include fresh produce, quality meats, and name-brand items, many times they are organic. These boxes are usually so loaded down with food that they are heavy and that's not even to mention the foods that are handed out that were not able to fit in the boxes. Positive Impact food pantry is incredibly generous and we are not about to see people going hungry on our watch. It's so much work and we need so many volunteers and it's heavy work, but our community is worth it, showing Christ's love through service is all I've ever wanted. What we do for the least of those we do for Him.

I recently had the pleasure of volunteering at the Positive Impact Saturday morning grocery giveaway and it was an extremely moving experience. The event was very well orchestrated beginning with the founders, Jay and Karalynne Brubaker who led a team of dozens of volunteers distributing well stocked boxes of fresh wholesome food to a seemingly endless line of families, both in cars and on foot. The volunteers (all dressed in Positive Impact shirts) where very well organized and led by a team of volunteer leaders, each of whom knew their assignments and kept their teams focused on serving as many families as possible, as fast as possible. Literally, hundreds and hundreds of families received a box of food over a 3-4 hour period. In addition to the hard work exhibited by the volunteers and the thousands of pounds of food distributed, what touched me the most was the passion, care and devotion of the volunteers as they greeted each family with kindness, respect and words or encouragement. Positive Impact is an extremely well organized, hard working group of caring individuals doing amazing work in our community. I encourage all businesses, individuals and organizations to support Positive Impact Worldwide with your donations, your time and your talent to support the outstanding work they are doing to insure no man, woman and child in our community goes to bed hungry. God Bless the work of Positive Impact Worldwide! Sebastian, St Petersburg, FL

I volunteered with Positive Impact throughout 2023 for their weekly free grocery distribution event. The effort they put in to provide free groceries to over 400 families a week is nothing short of remarkable. All the food is donated and sorted through by a team of happy-go-lucky volunteers who just want to make an impact.

The leader, Karalynne Brubaker gave me a warm welcome and words of gratitude as I sorted through produce. The good quality produce got put into distribution bags whereas the poor quality was placed in bins for composting to the local youth farm.

In my time there, I worked directly under the pantry manager AG who keeps the small facility running smoothly despite the small space to work in. It was made clear what everyone’s role was and how to escalate an issue if I wasn’t sure what to do.

In all, each box of food is probably worth about $350 and includes quality meats, fresh produce, dairy, and an assortment of baked goods and breads. Not only is the food fresh, but it’s also high quality. In many instances, I saw organic labels on the food we sorted through and passed out.

On distribution day, families of all shapes and sizes came through the line. It was endearing to hear warm words of kindness and gratitude. Living in the South St. Petersburg area, I can attest that we live in a food desert so the Tangerine Plaza grocery distribution event is like an oasis of healthy and desirable groceries. I myself even felt rich when I was allowed to take a box home myself after the event was over.
