Target demographics: We help strengthen and reunify families and provide a place to call home for children and youth in need of out-of-home placement. We help those suffering from mental illness, abuse, trauma, substance abuse disorder, behavioral, and developmental needs of all ages.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 680 clients receive mental health and behavioral health outpatient services. Cared for 230 males between the ages of 12-21 in our residential program. Educated 89 students in out of school time programming. And served 247 refugee clients.
Geographic areas served: Positive Growth Inc. is a premier community-based mental health service agency and child/youth residential care program serving Georgia residents for over 20 years. We are a nonprofit organization founded in 1994 accredited by the National Council on Accreditation (COA). We are dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth, adults, and families during difficult life transitions by helping them improve coping skills, develop healthier relationships, and become productive in society.
