Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: Pfm operates world-class farmers markets that contribute to the success of local food growers and producers and create vibrant community gatherings. As a trade association, success for our vendors is our primary objective. Listening and learning from vendors and shoppers produces outstanding farmers markets where vendors prosper and communities thrive.
Programs: The portland farmers market serves a customer base of 15,000 per week and provides opportunities for over 250 small businesses at 7 markets in portland's urban core. The markets provide: fertile ground for small local farms and food businesses to grow, opportunities for shoppers to meet food growers and producers and vibrant space with education and entertainment for people in their communities to gather. Additionally, portland farmers market provides professional services to support our companion charity, farmers market fund.
