Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Fund critical needs and shortages that do not fit into the papd police budget. Providing benevolent and scholarship funds. Strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship between papd and the public it serves. Raise awareness of the outstanding service the papd provides to our communities.
Programs: Thanks to generous donations from all over the country the port aransas police foundation (papf) raised over 94,000 in relief funds to assist first responders in our community who suffered financial losses as a result of hurricane harvey. In total over 98,000 has been distributed to 46 first responders from port aransas pd, ems & fire department and the nueces county constables office. The additional 4,000 disbursed over the amount donated was paid from the papf general fund.
