Causes: Citizen Participation
Mission: Politicraft, inc. Was formed to develop and expand the original concept of politicraft, a national immersive role-playing platform that transforms traditional civics learning by developing students' social-emotional aptitudes, literacy skills, systems thinking, and design learning skills in the context of authentic civics processes. Aligned with national council for social studies (ncss)'s c3 framework (college, career, and civic life), politicraft explores the process through which our government originates, deliberates and ultimately adopts or rejects the public policy by which we live. Students learn through direct interactive experience the essential empathy and reasoning skills to progress through and redesign various civic systems - both locally, regionally, and nationally. Through game play, america's youth will enrich their skills of communication, negotiation and collaboration, while driving social impact through civic leadership online and in the real world.
