Mission: Plum ems strives to provide the best possible pre-hospital emergency care, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, to the citizens of the borough of plum, allegheny county, pennsylvania.
Programs: Plum ems provides emergency medical response and other community services to the residents of plum borough in the eastern suburbs of allegheny county, pennsylvania. During 2017, plum ems responsed to 2,800 calls. In addition to emergency ambulance services, plum ems is on-call at community and school sporting events, provides medical support to the fire and police departments at fire and accident scenes, and provides coverage to the pennsylvania turnpike and to surrounding communities in the event their ems services are not available. Plum ems also provides non-emergency services to the community, such as ambulance and wheelchair van transport to hospitals and doctors' offices.
