My experience is been exceptional. The board and it’s President are making a difference in our community and home values and the community appearance is shaping up nicely. First, these board members are all volunteers and they are elected and they are committed to serving for the benefit of the whole community. You don’t have to travel far in Beaufort to see the deterioration and unsightly homes the seems to be the majority in this city. Our elected officials are representing our community to be a safe, desirable , and afford us a return on our investment. I join them in wanting a community that represents my values and not just another home that’s become the norm in Beaufort (junk), and not a community of derelict homes rotting and looks like they can’t afford to keep the power on. We as a community should want to stand up with pride to make our community the best it can be and it takes all of us and nothing ever accomplished when we work against our goals, “Pride in our community” it’s what we elected to have when the HOA was established and I support its mission. Thank you volunteers and our community that’s share our values.
Currently headed by a gentleman who feels it is appropriate to talk down to women. The president, Ron, also feels free to spend money without seeking approval from the community. He also allows certain people who he favors to have improvements to their home approved and deny those same improvements by others who he dislikes denied. He is an entitled pig who looks at our community as his fiefdom.
In addition, he and his wife are working to change all the covenant to be more restrictive and give themselves more power.
The secretary of the HOA also feels free to insult and demean veterans and anybody who dares to disagree with her. She is a horrible human being who freely runs her mouth.
