Mission: Plaza community center is a nonprofit organization established in 1905. Its mission is to provide comprehensive services including child care, early childhood education, substance abuse prevention and control, domestic violence, family preservation and youth services.
Programs: Child care: plaza's three centers provided child care services to low-income families. During the year 114,809 days of enrollment were provided
family services: the program provides a variety of services including family preservation; domestic violence counseling; father's in classroom education for fathers to be involved in their children's education; and first 5 program-training for families with new born children. During year 2014/2015 aproximately 800 families were served. Other programs: plaza provides a wide range of services to the community.
